Signs of coming Autumn...?????? 🍁🍂🍁

(Link)
Well, there is only one week left, of High Summer.    Come August, we (should) transition into Late Summer.    And I am looking for any signs of this, which I can "spy".  🍁

Across the street, there are some brown leaves, but they are probably just on a broken branch.    Along the pool fence, there are some signs of turning leaves, on one of the vines.  Not enough to really get excited about, though.  ~sigh~

🍁🍂🍁
But with August, our northern area, (usually) has lovely weather.    Sunny days, with cool nights.   Purrrrfect!
🍁
Especially in this time of more~questions~than~answers,  it is comforting to know, that Autumn will come.    The Seasons will keep evolving.  We can still, look forward, to Autumn....

You knew I would love this one, right?
This time of year makes me so excited.
It is coming. Not yet here, so not passing too quickly.
Have a cozy weekend, my friend.

I love your first and last quotes the best! Especially about wearing a sweater in the morning and regretting it in the afternoon! I have had that happen so much. Bloggers are showing turning leaves, but we have been in a heat wave with days of almost 100 degrees. I think it is most likely leaves that have turned because they died.

I could get so excited about this post except for one thing--last year we had hot summer until the end of October! And almost no color because of it. So I won't hold my breath for signs of autumn this far south. However, I have been pinning Autumn things on Pinterest already, even Christmas pics.

I always remember Septembers as being cool nights and mornings when I was young. I hope it's not a thing of the past!

We will sure enjoy the cooler weather for hiking but Summer is still my favorite season of the year! Enjoy your weekend!

we get Fall very late here. The leaves dont even fall until February and then we rake....about the time we get them raked up, the new spring bulbs like tulips and daffodills and irisis are up and starting to bloom, ha ha. Hot "dog days" of summer will be upon us soon, August and September. Sometimes in October it cools a little but usually there are still hot days. In november and december it becomes pleasant and mild in the 70s and some chill in the nights. Y'all doing anything fun this weekend?

Fall is my favorite time of the year, and the other is Spring. I do not enjoy summer with all its humidity. Lovely post and enjoyed all of it but that first photo is charming.

Have you read When the Frost is on the Punkin by James Whitcomb Riley....you could find it on my Pics An Pieces blog...I have a video of this old guy speaking it. I think if I had not heard it read first, I would not have loved it so much. It is maybe my favorite fall poem...as well as September by Helen Hunt Jackson.

Oh I do love Autumn, which here in the South does not show up until late Oct. I have memories of my childhood home having many pecan trees and picking up pecans off the ground with my late mom. She would use the nuts in her Christmas baking.
