As of right now, I am still having another Mental Health Day.   I have not looked at any *news,* and the sun still came up this morning.   And it is still shining.   And the trees are still standing.   And the snow is still on the ground.  ::::::::::  So, why do I feel guilty?<--Stupid.

Just finished making out my 'Groceries-To-Go' order!!!   Wheeeeew, what a long job!   I have to look for Gluten Free, on many things, which adds to the time.  ::::::::::   The site has a place, to check ingredients, one doesn't want in foods, which is very helpful of course..... Imagine reading all those labels, in the store!!!!   Eeeeeek!  Never want to go back to shopping, that way.  Just me...

Had to replace many items, and of course, the TOTAL PRICE is a horror.

Tomorrow night, in the State of the Union, will Uncle Joe tell us, how he is going to reign in INFLATION????!!!!?????   Yeah, if Hell happens to freeze over, during the day tomorrow.   😠

It's laughable, how little is worth watching, on tv, in the evenings.  So I finally ordered some Films, from the library.   Some Judi Dench of course!!!!  ::::::::::  I prefer seeing her, as herself.   Even though she made so many wonderful performances in films, in costume, etc.  Really wanted to see "Mrs. Brown," but it seems, someone stole it.   And the library system has not replaced it.  -Sighhhhh-   

Oh but I really must find a way, to see it!!!!  😊   

Anyone remember when we went to a Film Rental Store, to rent and see a film??????   Mercy!   How long ago, that seems now.

Looking back at old posts, I found a post.....   Concerning Zen Habits...  At that time, I looked at it, every day.   Might be an old habit, to resume.

Here is a bit about being overwhelmed.  I think we all feel this way, now and then, for one reason or another.   He suggests....

"The practice here is to find focus in the middle of chaos." 1. Pick one task.  2. Fully focus on this one task  3. Take a break, and repeat."  :-)   Sounds like a good idea!

I also came across a picture of red check fabric, which I used for making my Background, back then.   I might do it again, using a simple black and white silhouette, as my Header.    A bright Background needs a simple Header, so neither compete, with each other.

No matter what you do, this Sunday, in this Country, it's tradition to Eat Goodies 'Junk'.    Those things you usually do not eat much of.  Chips and dip and pizza and BBQ Chicken Wings, and cheeses, and Subs, and Chili and Cookies and Cupcakes...   And for many, drink Beer.

You can rent a good movie, or go for a long walk, or watch the Super Bowl, or the Puppy Bowl, or read a good book, or anything you want to, on Sunday.

But don't forget the Goodies 'Junk'!!!

We are having an old fashioned snow storm.   This little old 'mousey' lady above, is doing what to do, during it.   If you are an old 'mousey' lady, or an old retired lady, like me.  :-)

Granted, people in the ice storm part of this, are not having an old fashioned snow storm.   I am very sorry for them.   ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄    But I was thinking.....    People in the North East have been living through snow storms forever.   We didn't used to get that upset over them, years ago.  Why do we panic now?

Maybe because of all the Weather News available now?  All the "something terrible this way comes,"  from all the weather forecasters?  A couple of hundred years ago, the only weather forecasters were the old people, and their old bones, which ached when the weather was going to turn 'bad'.    And farmers, who could 'read the sky' and etc.

And back then, they didn't have to rush to the store for needed food.     They always kept a 'deep pantry,' as a way of life.   And they had enough fire wood on hand.    It was just a matter of riding out the storm, no matter what it turned out to be.

 Thank you for your comments on my last post.  Since I have very few Dear Readers, who follow sports, they are especially appreciated. 

Yes, I am a little sad, because of the fun I have had, the last 2 years, following Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

But more importantly, I am so glad that he retired, without being hurt.

What I have enjoyed the most, is his total commitment and determination.   All game long, he never lost that determined face!!!   On the sidelines, he was still studying the game, on his tablet!!!!!

His total life style was one of nearly super-human commitment.   I admire him so very much, for this.

He has increased his non-football projects, especially this last year, so it was a very good 'bet,' this would be his last, playing football.   

Seems he will now devote his time, to his family ("Our family is my greatest achievement"), and to these business ventures ('Autograph', 'BRADY' and 'TB12 Sports')

As I said before, Godspeed to him, in the rest of his life.
