Very cold last night....   Clear... so any daytime heat just wicked up into the sky...  The bird bath was frozen...

Don't you love these kinds of illustrations?  Snow on rooftops and golden light glowing in many windows?  😊

Made an "Impossible Pie" for dinner last night, and the rest will be dinner tonight.  I love meals in one dish, which make enough for 2 meals.  I really should look up a lot of recipes, for such.  If you have any suggestions for me, I would love to hear them!!!!!

Got something done and "off our plate," today!!!!  Yesssssssssssss!!!!  If we could drink, we would be having Champagne tonight, instead of non-alcoholic Eggnog.  🍷

It's fun and I was so happy to find it, on one of our streaming channels.  The first part kind of drags, but it really picks up, after Jean Stapleton's character dies.  ~~~~  

It is *cheeky*, of course.  😉

When Candace Cameron Burr spoke of why she moved to GAC Ch....  Of course she got in major trouble.   Many other celebrities were displeased with her statement.  

At this present time, no one is allowed to state any view, which does not agree with the "Woke" View.

That is the plain truth.

If you disagree with any of the "Woke" Views, you will be Cancelled.

When our daughter was in her teens, I read about "Make Way For Lucia" and got it for her.  Of course, I read it myself and came under 'Lucia's' spell.  And I still am.

Ginny asked the cost of Britbix... $7 a month)   Have yet to watch the more recent tv adaptation.  So can't judge that...

'Back in the day' as the saying goes, I was on a net group, of lovers of all-things-'Lucia'....   Those in the UK would sometimes meet up.  I couldn't do that, but it was great fun.  Would love to find something like that, on the Net, again.  Must Search!  😊

We enjoyed it very much.

No 'Spoilers' but...  It's interesting to see actors, who don't mind looking absolutely awful, 'done up' in their characters.  I refer to Jamie Lee Curtis and Toni Collette.  To me, they looked amazingly awful, in this film....   "For Art" of course.  -grin-

And Daniel Craig was hardly his 'James Bond' persona!!!  Far from it.  >,-)))  For the purpose of playing this particular character, of course.

Last night we watched "The Red Violin".

Some years ago, she appeared at a Summer Musical Event, outside of our city.  It was a lovely outdoor event, nestled in a forest setting....   Thus only held, in summer.  And we were able to see/hear the original.

Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 8am. Temperature falling to around 26 by 5pm.  Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Have watched Brenda Blythen DVD's from the library.  "Blizzard"  an enchanting Christmas Time one, with her playing an Aunt, telling a 'story.'

"Saving Grace" about a small town English widow, facing financial troubles after her husband's suicide.  Pretty cute.  In both these films, she is playing a nice lady.  Smiling and looking nice.

Which make her role in "Vera" to be all the more interesting.   A total reversal.  Playing a woman with caustic wit and no-nonsense approach.    Showing her acting talents, as never before. 

So glad I got these DVD's to watch.

When I took the snow pic, above, I found this picture of a gorgeous pizza 😋, on my camera.   I had forgotten it!  Makes me want another.  😋😋😋     Our pizza delivery place does a good job.   Gluten Free crust, with sausage and black olives.   😋 

Last night we watched "The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel."  Hmmmmm....  For us, it was long, and chaotic.  I think I thought the first one, was better.   Have to take it out of library, to watch and see.

To me, it seemed as if they shot all kinds of scenes, and then, just sort of strung them together.  Even with sub-titles, we couldn't follow the words.

At the very end...  I was expecting Maggie Smith's character to fall back off that wall she was sitting on and commit a quiet suicide!!!!!  😨   She was saying 'Good Bye' to that maid...  And looking so old and sick and frail.   I thought she was going to die. 😔
