⛄More snow coming πŸ”₯ Film 😊

Looking at snow coming again...

Saturday
Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 8am. Temperature falling to around 26 by 5pm.  Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

 Enough already....  πŸ˜’

Have watched Brenda Blythen DVD's from the library.  "Blizzard"  an enchanting Christmas Time one, with her playing an Aunt, telling a 'story.'

"Saving Grace" about a small town English widow, facing financial troubles after her husband's suicide.  Pretty cute.  In both these films, she is playing a nice lady.  Smiling and looking nice.

Which make her role in "Vera" to be all the more interesting.   A total reversal.  Playing a woman with caustic wit and no-nonsense approach.    Showing her acting talents, as never before.

So glad I got these DVD's to watch.

Have you seen "Blizzard"   or "Saving Grace" ?

We're only supposed to get an inch of snow but it is COLD and will be through the weekend.
I have seen Saving Grace. It was a fun movie. I'll have to look the other one up but it doesn't sound familiar.
I saw your comment, look up Zyflamend on amazon. It works really well for me to keep inflammation down.
Enjoy your weekend!!

Nope...not seen here. I usually get to watch what Bud likes mostly. And that's westerns or crime dramas.

Yes, enough already! We woke up to an inch of snow this morning! Ugh! I am so over it!

I'm ready for the snow again. Our roads are slippery-slimy with mud again. I might even bake a cake. Never ran the DVD - don't care about movies.

I haven't heard of those movies... I will wait for your review. :) We had two inches of freezing sleet and then thundersnow on top of that last weekend. Jim Cantore was not in the area lol, but wow I've never heard so much thunder during a snowstorm. Our forecast for the rest of the month here shows 60s-70s and a few 80s, so we're all hoping this winter stuff is over. There was an article online that people are winter weary... I totally believe that! Hang in there, my friend! Hopefully this is it for you guys!

I have not seen either of them. But I would love to wait out a blizzard in this sweet little badger house.

Hi! In answer to your question about why we are all wearing masks. Our daughter-n -law has cancer, so her oncologist recommended it because of her immune system and blood cell count.

You are so right about that strange comment I got. It is very suspicious, and I am not going to visit it. A lot of times, you can just TELL!

I haven't seen the two films you mention, I will look for them in my streaming connection. The one where I say the title and it often finds it. That photo of the girl holding the lantern is intriguing.

We are supposed to be getting that same storm starting 1:00 tonight. Sure hope it passes us by!!! :)
Love all the pictures.
In answer to your question about the frozen mud puddle. I stood on it but it didn't break! :)

Have not heard of those movies! Sounds like both are worth a watch. Will keep my eye out for them. How wonderful that you find such goodness at your library. Can't beat free!

Sorry about yet more snow. We'll get a big drop in temps here this weekend, but no snow. Just look at it as moistening the ground for spring.

Take care, my dear, and hope you have a cozy weekend!

I have not seen those, but Brenda Blethyn is an absolute treasure. I watched every single episode of Vera while my mom was sick and I was alone for so many hours at night (because she and Henry went to sleep so early, and I go to sleep late), and I'm just about ready to watch them all again. I hope your snow is very beautiful and that you are warm and snuggly inside for the duration of the storm! We are on the southern end of that system and had rain today, with more predicted for tonight, and some cold temperatures tomorrow! xoxo

Love the Brambly Hedge image. It is making me want to reach for the book this evening. X

More snow here too. It's enough!
I've saved Vera to watch. I think we will enjoy it!

I’m not a movie OR snow person. We got three inches and frigid temps. Ugh!
