Taking a Mental Health Day...
Ever hear of those?
"When you feel like your stress levels have reached their peak, it might be time to take a quick break to reset."
My stress levels have definitely reached their peak! Betcha' a lot of us, can agree. -sigh-
So much to worry about, in so many aspects of life.
So little that worrying, can do, about any of it.
I don't regret what I said. It has been a long-time-coming. But neither do I want any of my Dear Readers to worry about it!!!!!!! Please... Please... Please...
I love you all, just the way you are! And hope that the feeling is reciprocated. We are each our Individual Selves, and we have a perfect Right to be so.
Let's love ourselves. And be gentle with ourselves.
And continue to hold each other's hands, in our lovely 'Pretty Blog Land.'
And maybe, plan a 'Mental Health Day' for yourself.

Yes, mental health days are so important. I've learned when I need to shut down for a while too.
We all are on our own journey with our own circumstances. It would be quite a boring life if we all were the same.
Enjoy resting today!!
Hi,
I think I may have been one of those you shared about in the below post. I apologize. I do appreciate you pointing it out to me. I will be more careful.
Keep Calm and Carry On!!
Your photos are so lovely and peaceful! Wouldn't it be great if we actually had a place like this close by where we could retreat? I did not know about Mental Health Day. Seems like nowadays, every day is SOMETHING!
Absolutely do what you need to do for YOURSELF! We should support each other in whatever we're going through and whatever we need to do to take care of ourselves! I can tell you winter has been harder on me this time around, I can't stand cold weather, and getting older means the creaks and aches happen more often. *sigh* I'm just waiting for the warmer temps that are coming this week as that will help me immensely. My mental health is at its best in spring, summer, and fall... when I can be outdoors doing all my gardening! And playing with the grandkids of course. And just whatever... as long as it's outdoors! When the sun sets in spring and summer, a lot of times I do not want to go inside. Ha! Have a great day!
I didn't know 'Beside a Babbling Brook' was a song - I just listened to it on YouTube and I love the sentiment. I hope you have a little brook of your own where you can enjoy your day off :) xx
All things work out eventually. Don't fret the small stuff.
Take care!
We all need a break from this craziness! I love your pictures and wish I was in one right about now!
My morning walk does wonders for my mental health. :) It is why I enjoy my walk so much.
We do best when we take time to nurture ourselves and to play. I started adding to my list of things to do, "joy" and "play". Yes, I wrote those words on my long lists to remind me. I like your header photo of the brook.
You shared lots of beauty today. Just seeing this is a mental health break.
And yes - you are loved. :)
We all need mental health days, grin. Hope you have a beautiful Monday, new friend. smiles
Oh to be back when that song was written and danced to.... My dad sang stuff like that with his beautiful tenor voice. I played his old sheet music on our piano for him. Times were better then, in my opinion. Bad ones came after. Like now.
I hear you loud and clear! Mental Health Days for me would simply consist of days when I look at ZERO "news" ... because it's 75% lies anyway and I don't know which 75% and I don't need to get my blood pressure up over any of it. I can't change it. My goal is to be happy and, if I can, to make others happy. xoxo
