Cooooool nights...! ✨ Bring changes.... ✨

Our nighttime temp went down to 44, and it seemed to "call for" turning on the faerie lights.   This is the window, next to our kitchen eating area.
This is looking at the mantle wall, in our Hearth Room.    All year long, we turn on the faerie lights here, of course.
This is looking, from kitchen, into den...   And that is a candle light, not a real candle!!!    Anyway, in summer I don't tend to turn these faerie lights on, or the ones, around the window, by the eating area.   🍁🍂🍁    But the cooler weather, seems to "call for" them.
Are you finding subtle changes, around your home, when the weather changes?  Not the decorations...   Other things....?   Or subtle changes, in yourself?

I happen to love earlier nightfall, and find it cozy.   I love that it is again comfortable, to bake and make oven meals. And love Nature's prompt, to begin to slow down, and to look inward, and look forward to Winter's Hibernating.
I know I am lucky, feeling this way.    Not everyone does!    Some, actually have a Hard Time with all the above.

Your home looks so warm and welcoming. I look forward to changes in the weather but of course there won't be any real hibernating weather here in Florida. I do look forward to the earlier nightfall and all those delicious fall comfort foods. Have a great weekend :)

Yummy with the rolls! I like the fairy lights. Puts one in a holiday mood. Finally cooling down here though we will be running the AC til November.

Oh how I love fairy lights! I have a lot of candles on timers and lamps to use when it gets dark early. I have some lights around a basket that are on a timer too. I just love feeling all cozy in my home. It's raining right now so I have some extra 'mood' lighting. I would feel right at home in your beautiful home. I'll be right over...is it time for tea? Hugs!

I don't change the decorations, but usually September and the beginning of fall is my favorite time of the year. For me it's a time for new beginnings. That's when my new years start.

As it gets cold I like to make soup which we rarely have during spring and summer. Autumn and soup go together for us.

Cooler nights, open windows! It’s not cool enough for my air-conditioning not to run...Another week maybe. I feel better in cooler weather..Enjoy!

I love the fairy lights...I love fall...but I do miss the early mornings. But would not give up fall to have the early sun.
