Finally.... Our Christmas decorations...! 😊🎄😊🎄😊

The Santas, 🎅 which my husband carved.   They always take 'center stage,' on the mantle.    But they are not lit enough.  Still have not solved this problem.  🎅

The view of our little tree, from my comfy chair.   To the left of it, is the fireplace and mantle.  My besom is in between.   😊

On the right of the mantle, the sleepy little bear...

On the left of the mantle, is  "Mistletoe Mouse."

Reflections, in the patio doors...   Seen from my comfy chair....  😊   We use the same decorations, every year now.  Since I got rid of a lot of excess.   Like we used to have garland hung around here and there.    But with age, I don't want my husband to climb up, to do these, anymore.   And we used to cut our tree down, each Christmas, and it held more ornaments...   Than the small artificial one...

But we enjoy what we have, and it is enough....

🎄🎄🎄🎄

"On Christmas day, when fires were lit.... And all our breakfasts done,...  We spread our toys out on the floor And played there in the sun.    The nursery smelled of Christmas tree,...  And under where it stood, The shepherds watched their flocks of sheep --All made of painted wood.....  Outside the house the air was cold...And quiet all about,...Till far across the snowy roofs...  The Christmas bells rang out."

Your mantel is charming and so are all of the other decorations. Don't you love the view from your favorite chair? It should always include the sight of things you love. I think you need a line of white lights right at your santas' feet, to illuminate them better. Maybe a battery-operated string of fairy lights! xoxo

I'm sorry that I came to your blog so late, but Sunday is the day I see my grandchildren!
Your mantle is charming! Wish I had a fireplace like yours!
You asked where I took the pictures with the heron?! That was from the window of the bedroom and you can see the backyards of the houses.
Wishing you a great week! Hugs!

Your husband is very talented. He could sell these and make a living, he's so good.

Your space looks cozy and I can imaging you enjoying it.

Oh I love the carved Santas! They really are special and your husband is VERY talented! Tell him I said so! I love your beautiful decorations. It's in the 70s here today but I have lived in parts of the country where it was cold in the winter! I'm happy with palm trees swaying in the breeze this afternoon and roses blooming. I've been outside dead heading roses just now! Enjoy your week! Love your photos! holiday hugs!
