Made a Crock Pot recipe, first thing, this morning. I love Crock Pot meals. Done early, and all I have to do, is remember to add some frozen peas, later. Some mashed potatoes, right before eating, to "soak up" the sauce... And dinner is all done. 
My new and present Icon, is of "Vera"... And I was wondering if all Dear Readers know who this tv character is? Yes, I know, she is very well known, but that doesn't mean that everyone knows her. So I am adding the click-able link to an article, with will fill in, for anyone, who is not that familiar with her.
I hardly think I will look like the lovely bride above, when dishing it out, though. -grinnnnnn- I tried to find another picture/drawing, but with no luck.

I knew she looked like a detective, just by the look of her! I never heard of this, but would love to watch the series. wll it be on P.B.S.? I know she is a highly acclaimed actress.

I have to say I am not familiar with VERA, but I don't watch a lot of TV and we don't get a ton of channels. I do plan to check into the dr. In Sunday School today several class members were talking about an animal worm medicine that everyone is buying up because it helps with COVID...what?????? Yep, even my husband said he has talked to several people who are using it. Weird, right? I love, love, love, love your red gingham...the only thing I like better than gingham is RED gingham:)

I got my vaccine appointment via the NYC website. I was very lucky. The day vaccine opened up to 65+ I went in immediately and got an appointment for this week. I decided to give it another try and found one for January 14. I didn't spend one extra second looking at other sites, but went with the first one in Manhattan that I saw. My friends upstate found vaccine -- using the state website -- in Potsdam and Plattsburgh.
I really like the character of Vera. I may have to rewatch the whole series!

I have not watched any shows with Vera but I'm sure I would like them. We have enjoyed the new series All Creatures Great and small. It is SO good! Wish they had more shows in a season though. Happy Monday!
