In January, we were finally able to have our hair cut again. And I went for very short, again. Now that things are becoming more open, here in *Cuomo-stan* (New York State), and it is not going to be so difficult to get it trimmed, I want to let it grow. It's getting more thin, and I hate the way it looks, when I wash my hands, and see myself in the bathroom mirror. 😱
I have no illusions about "my looks", at my age. As long as I am neat, "Pretty" is a thing of the past. But I don't want to cringe, in a mirror, either. Softness and some curl/wave is now, my best look. There is no doubt. And I need to grow some, to allow some softness/curl/wave, to be professionally applied.

I know exactly what you mean, my friend. You don't want to be discouraged when at the sink washing your hands and catch sight of yourself in the mirror! It's happy that one's hair doesn't have to be all that long, to put some lift in with a curling iron and a tease here and there, and some hair spray, and make it lovelier. I sure hope I can get my hair cut soon, it's getting SO long again. Hope you find a perfect chair. I like recliners that you can change the positions! Enjoy your afternoon!
Pretty is a thing of the past for me, too. It seems that the older I get, the more comfort comes before looks. Oh gosh, I hope you can find a new chair soon! Then I want to see it and hear the story about it!
Glad you could get your haircut. I’ve been getting mine cut for about four months now thank goodness.You could probably shop for a recliner on line but then you couldn’t sit in it. Maybe if you got the same brand?
My husband always gives me a trim. :)

I always try to put on a little makeup even when I'm not going anywhere! That way I don't feel quite so old and worn out when I see myself! Plus I still color the grey out of my hair and when it starts to show it ages me even more! Good luck in your recliner search!
