Whoooo-Hooooo.... I wanted to have a Daffodil
Yellow Background. So that means, a simple Daffodil,
on a white background, long enough, not too wide.
And that's not easy to find. -sigh-
Then when you find one, you have to size it. If the
pic is huge, you have to figure out, what length and
what width, is needed, to fit nicely, as your
Background. I got it, to look nice, on the old blog, I
use for trying things out.
Then, I put it on this blog, and it is not so perfect.
-sighhh- But by then, I was tired and fed up with
trying. LOL
Soooo, it is as it is.
By the way, we had a snow squall this morning.

We may put daffodils on our blogs, but that does not
mean, that Spring is really and fully here. At least in
some parts of the world.

So pretty. Happy Sunday to you.
It's very pretty, looks like spring!
Lovely!
GREAT poem by Milne! Our daffys are all up and nodding in the warm breezes. We have some cooler temps coming up this week, however. Perfect for walking! The pollen has begun to cloud the air and coat everything with neon yellow. I don't enjoy the pollen-ness of the coming days, but it is necessary. I think your blog background looks fantastic! xoxo
OH MY GOSH, it is GORGEOUS!! I have really never seen a blog look like it. It just burst in my head wth sunshine and happiness! You are a true artist with your blog. And the poem is so wonderful, I have never heard it before.
Such an absolutely beautiful sight here today, my friend! My mother's kitchen was yellow daffodils when I was young! Seeing them always makes me happy.
I remember reciting that poem in sixth grade! We also recited Browning's short piece with "the lark's on the wing, the snail's on the thorn" lines, I always loved memorizing poems. I think the daffs look very nice on your blog! Blogger is so tempermental!
Daffodils are so pretty. I planted some in pots out front in the fall, sure hope they come up.
Happy to be reading your blog!! π
Your daffodils are so full of sunshine, made me smile and feel happy - as did the poem :)) xx
I love that poem...and I love the look of your blog...it may not be what you had in mind, but I see nothing wrong with it.
