There is Hope...!!! 😊

Monday was another lovely day for a walk.  After my

shower, I put lots of moisturizer with sun screen,

on my face.  For our walk, I put some powder over the

little veins, and a bit of wine color lipstick, over the

pink lipstick.  After all, I was going out, without a

mask! 😊

Not as many walkers as yesterday.  First was an older

woman, all dressed in black.  With a black mask, even!

She had her nose out, but when coming more toward us,

(we were on a road, not a sidewalk!!!) she pulled the

mask up, over her nose!  Whhhhhyyyy?!?   But I did

not ask her.  πŸ˜‡

Of course, the college sheep students, all walk by

with masks on.  Out in the fresh air!  πŸ˜’  There are

signs, at the college entrances, to Wear Mask😱

Who knows...  Perhaps they have to sleep in them.  😏

By the way, those are my glasses!!!!  😊

Farther along, we came on an older couple, walking

with out masks!!!  I said how lovely it is, to see people,

without masks, out in the fresh air!!!!!   She said

something about "Freedom!" and he was smiling broadly,

and giving 2 'thumbs up'!

There is hope!

I guess if you are going to wear a mask, you should wear it properly..Enjoy your day..

Your glasses are like the ones that the pretty in pink girl is wearing? I like them! I KNOW wht she pulled her mask up! I heard the doctor on the news say that you can walk without a mask, but put one on when you pass someone at close range. Wish I could make my posts as pretty and uplifting as you do! i always enjoy them so much.

Good on you for doing what you believe in. I wouldn't go out without a mask. I don't want to catch any virus. I follow all the rules, distancing and antiseptic on hands. Darned if I want to end up in hospital or with health problems which can last month's. And I don't want my husband to suffer either.
Here it's a 300 euro fine if you're caught out without a mask and you have to wear it correctly.

The only time I wear a mask outdoors is while waiting outside school. They made it a requirement as there isn't much space and it can get quite crowded there. X

These images are absolutely gorgeous and so delightful. I've been going without a mask lately unless I go in a store where I feel it's required. What is sooooo funny to me is to be driving along and pass someone ALONE in their car and wearing their mask!!! WHAT???? I really worry about our college students these days...they are being so indoctrinated by liberal professors. Of course, I also need to worry about all students from preK on because I saw on news last week where some schools curriculums are now not allowing a teacher to use the words "boys and girls" and the kids are being taught they can be any gender they want to be. Our country needs to turn back to sense and morals!!! OK...of my soapbox. Thank you for dropping by my blog. I replied so please go back and see what I wrote...gave you advice on using foundation:)

Wearing a mask is like throwing sand through a chain link fence. It will catch some, but hardly anything. They are worthless.

I only see people around here wearing masks in stores - outside haven't seen anyone.
I look a mess when I'm out walking. :)

I'm with you! No masks when in fresh air. I wear them only where I have too. I think they are causing more issues than they are helping, but that's a whole other post! So is the fact that college students are so indoctrinated...
I love the pics you shared today and those glasses are cute!

I never wear a mask outside or when I'm alone in my car! I am surprised when I see people wearing masks in their cars! Anyway, I put my mask on as I am walking over the threshold of a store and take it off the minute I step outside! If I walk by someone outside I just make sure to be 6 feet apart from them.

The only time I have ever worn a mask (in my entire life, except for a plastic character mask on Halloween once or twice when I was a kid) was last August when I wore one to get into the hospital to see my mother. I wore it for a total of maybe eleven minutes that day. I go anywhere I want, any time I want, and never wear one. When asked if I want one, I politely say no and keep walking. I don't go up to people and breathe or cough on them ... but then, I have never EVER done that, at any time. That is common courtesy.

What convinced me approximately one year ago that it would be a futile exercise to follow the masking trend was observing the way the MASKERS "wear" their masks. As in, only on certain days, or times of day ... on Sunday but not on Wednesday, on Tuesday but not on Friday ... pulling the mask down in order to talk ... "wearing" them on their necks, their chins, their ears, or dangling from their fingers ... sometimes over the nose, more often not ... touching them CONSTANTLY, then touching other things (ewwww) ... "forgetting" to put one on and then rummaging in a pocket or a purse or the floor of their car, to find the dirty thing and plaster it over their mouth ... California Governor Gavin Newsom and pals at the French Laundry, maskless ...I could go on and on.

COVID does not know what day of the week it is, or what time of day it is, or where you are, or whether you wore a mask "last time" and plan to wear one "next time" -- and NEITHER DOES ANY OTHER GERM, neither now nor ten years ago or twenty years from now.

According to the CDC, the vast majority of those who have contracted COVID have been AVID mask wearers. Wearing a mask will NOT keep you from dying, or from "taking" a germ to another person. That notion is patently absurd. We are all going to die someday. Even if you stay home 100% of the time, wearing a mask, you are still going to die ... and those who live with you are going to die too.

I would rather live free (and free of meaningless gestures meant to appease others, too many of whom, from all available evidence, LOVE the drama of a "pandemic") than any other way, and to me, that means MASKLESS. I am so glad my dear friend that you went out maskless and had a wonderful walk in the sunshine. My sunglasses are just like yours! Jackie O's from RayBan ... xoxo

Wonderful!
We don’t have to wear masks for when we are out walking...thankfully!
I’m not sure exactly how effective they are but a friend of mine did raise a lot of money
making them for charity. So that’s a big positive.
Thanks for your regular comments on my blog....they make me laugh ;-)

The ones that really get me, as well as the outdoor walkers with masks, are those in their cars, alone, with masks on.

Sigh! There is hope!

I like your glasses!
