There is only one kind of edible fiddlehead here and it is rare.

Thanks for the heads up! I probably won't be anywhere where they grow wild. My grandfather was great on identifying the nonpoisonous mushrooms out in the woods.

I'm not sure what kind I see growing around here. If I want to eat any I think I'll buy them at the store! Thanks for the info.
No fears of me consuming poison fiddleheads! I am scared of mushrooms too!
