You know that NOTICE we all get, when we have clicked on 'Design' and then on 'Posts"? That one shown above, in a YELLOW BOX... Do any of my Dear Readers use that "FollowByEmail widget"?

I do not. So I don't have any issue with its being discontinued. I have no interest in any more emails coming into my email box. I like it, for private emails.

I use the Blogger Gadget, which shows when my Dear Readers have posted a new post. Which is not going to be discontinued, I don't think.

I think I only have 2, who are not on Blogger. And I can easily send them a very quick email, when I do a new post.

Well, from reading this notice, it seems that it is being discontinued, but will still work!! I'm wondering if they mean that they will continue sending e-mails to the followers who are alreadysigned up, but will not accept any more? It's confusing, surely they could have worded it better! Your header is gorgeous!!!
They're always changing things! I got that notice and imported my email list per the link's instructions. At some point, I assume I'm supposed to export them somewhere. 😕 Happy Tuesday!
I have a follow by email right below the header. I put it there because some bloggers asked me to because they follow my blog that way. I think come next month that option will go away. I will be just deleting it once it doesn't work anymore.
I have never followed a blog that way.
I don't know, I've been ignoring that yellow box! I don't subscribe by e-mail so I guess it won't affect me. :)

Hate changes..Most of my followers foloow my by email..Very convenient..Now what??
I had my blog set up to follow by email then put on the follower button from Blogger. I will see what happens when the follow by email goes away next month. People who are interested in commenting will find a way to keep in touch I would imagine.

Yesterday I was alarmed to see that my blog roll list of all the blogs I follow, is gone. Is that for everyone, or just poor little me? It was a great feature so I could scroll thru the list of blogs and look for ones I hadn't seen recently.
I hate emails!! It's a waist of time. My opinion.
