Did you ever watch "Howl's Moving Castle"? One of our Granddaughters majored in Japanese in college, and lived there, many times. From HS on, she had loved Japanese Anime. So I was exposed to it too. 😊 The first was probably "My Neighbor, Totoro". A delightful introduction.
If Anime is new to you, I suggest you do as I did, and start with "My Neighbor, Totoro" .... You may just find a delightful new interest. 😊

I imagine your library has them...

Yes, yes, yes. I've seen this art and it's fabulous!!
In regards to your comment you left for me, I believe you are referring to "huge" ships called Supertankers...we've had a few come into port. I blogged (with photos) about one here...

I have gotten into anime but some friends are into it. They really enjoy it.
My children, now adults, used to be into anime. Me, not so much. Oldest daughter & son used to love drawing anime too, as well as read the books. ~Andrea xoxoxo
I love Japanese Anime. The artwork is one of my favorites.
My step granddaughter is into anime. The art is really well done!
betty
I have herd of it, and it is popular among teens. but I have never seen it.
Thanks so much for your comment today! I didn't really do anything to my blog to get it this way, still no header. But other than that, I think it looks the same as usual. Why does everything have to chhange! And the same with groceries...as soon as I love something, it either stops selling or turns into a different form. I guess life and everything about it is changing all the time.
Wow I have never seen either of these, or anything like them, but you have piqued my interest! I know that Dagny would love this. I'll get my hands on one or both of these movies and share them with her! Thanks, my friend xoxo
This is new to me! Will have to check it out.
I have a neice who is into anime and is really very good at drawing it. Now I'll have to check out the movies!
Thank you for sharing. :-)
I like the quote too.
We were introduced to those movies you mentioned via our youngest daughter. They're strange and wonderful productions. Maybe we'll watch one for pizza night this week. I think she'd like that.
