Hello November...
Not the easiest month, to like.
Dark skies...
Rain...
Wind...
Last leaves blowing down, in the wind...
😞
Sooooooooooo, I have to devote myself to finding ways to happily "Live In The Season."
Because...
Not only is this month, a dreary one, it is the beginning of Our Winter of Our Discontent.
More on this, coming....
Meanwhile, check your pantry, have a cup of something warm and soothing, cozy-up your home, etc. We have to learn now, how to live, through this coming winter.

It's not my favorite season but living in Florida with abundant sunshine helps! Love those cups of hot tea too. Enjoy your day!
We always have snow in November. Yuck though there are always nice autumn days as well.
I'm ready - there is NO WAY around it so I'm prepped to go through it.Look out! Here I come!
I am so worried about things going on right now. The prices of food are outrageous here. The only good thing is so far the local farmers/ranchers have been able to keep their prices the same. I saw bacon at the market for over 10 dollars a pound. Our delicious local bacon is still slightly under 5.00 dollars a pound. We're stocked pretty well but you just never know where this is going to go.
We are always saying "The winter of our discontent!". So maybe you will be sharing ways that you are getting thru it? I love love love love this last quote!!!!
The last few years I have made a determined effort to appreciate each season. We may not get the strong seasonal divisions (it doesn't snow here), but each season has its own character and I can usually find something to be contented with. I think they call it mindfulness :)
November is the beginning of the holiday season and other than warm summer days is my favorite time of year. It's January and February that are the season of discontent for me!
It's sunny and 85° right now. Not bad asking as the humid air stays out to sea!! That is one reason why we retired to the coast...mild winters and NO SNOW!!
I'm gonna have me a "shot" of egg nog...'tis the season.
I truly love the kind of conditions you describe. Here, today, it is 72 and sunny. Same predicted for tomorrow. In other words, gorgeous weather. I don't dislike it but I am looking forward to later in the week when we have predictions of highs in the low 50s and cloudy. BUT we are beginning to get some leaf color and it's pretty, and I don't mind winter coming ... I just hate the EARLY DARK coming this weekend! AAARRGGHHH!! xoxo
I kind of like winter and snow. It's really a pretty time to walk in the woods.
I'm not ready for the cold, but here it comes!
I just made a batch of chai tea to enjoy on these hot days.
It's summer here all year round in our tropical corner of the world!
But November is the start of the monsoon season and too much rain is no fun!
As long as it's cold, I'm happy. Love having a reason to put a fire in the fireplace. Our leaves are just changing color now. Later this month we'll get the dreary gray and brown. For now it's still pretty.
