Our (US) clocks 'fall back' this weekend. Today's noon 'will be' next week's 11am. So we are trying to 'do it' ahead of time. 😃 When we look at a clock, we see the time shown... But register it as, one hour earlier.
This way, our mind/body will begin to "live" on Nature's Time again. Before the *official* date.
Do you have any "tricks up your sleeve," to ease this silly, yearly "fall back" nonsense???

I wish they'd just end it and let us get used to it. Poor Hubby has to do some computer work (from home) that night, so he'll be a mess! lol
The only good part of it is that we get an extra hour sleep. And one night of one hour extra sleep is certainly not worth six months of darkness. It's just plain WRONG to be dark at 4:30.
No tricks...no like!!!
To me changing the clocks twice a year is a P.I.A. The only one I don't bother with is my camera.
Such a timely post. Pun intended.
The fall back is standard time. In the spring we go forward (artificially). I wish they'd just stick to standard. But either way lets just choose one and stick with it!
Nonsensical for sure..Like that word?? Happy Friday..
The time change either time usually doesn't affect me much. I am looking forward to it being light out earlier in the morning though. I am a early riser by choice and it's been hard to drag myself out of bed when it's still dark outside!
No tricks except to hate it more every year, with the heat of a thousand suns! When I was little my sister and I, the day after time change (either season) would say, "It's really _____ o'clock" based on the time it would have been the day before. Made our mother so mad. She'd say NO it is not REALLY an hour earlier (or later)! That's what time it is! Haaahaha xoxo
We were going to that ahead of time thing too but didn't after all.
I don't like changing the clocks but get used to the new time pretty quickly. I've already been waking up a bit later in the mornings. Seems my body starts getting used to the change on its own. :)
It's especially hard when you have pets that are used to a scheduled time that they eat. Jet gets very vocal when he thinks it is time to eat.
For a day or two before time changes we do the same you are doing. I think it helps us a little.
I am not a fan of the time change.
I personally would like to leave it at Standard Time - All the Time.
Daylight Saving is always a major adjustment for me. I find I have to follow the clock, doing things at the "right" time, until I get used to the change. My car clock stays the same year round - and drives all my passengers nuts when they realize it is "wrong" six months of the year!
