🌼🌼Flowers 🌼and 🌼Pushing Boundries🌼🌼

 (Source of Nasturtiums pictures)

Hope to grow some Nasturtiums this year.    We got seeds.  And my husband has grown things from seed before.

🌼🌼🌼

I love them.   They are such a sweet and rather old-fashioned looking flower.

🌼🌼🌼

Do you enjoy growing them?

Well I did it.   We went to a new hairdresser and I had a semi-buzz cut.  No more 'bad hair days'!!!!!   Not enough hair, to get messy!!!!  😉

It's about like this, on Judi Dench.   Very, very short bangs.  Quite buzzed in the back and sides.  Very, very, very little, anywhere!

She began with scissors,  but switched to razor, which is the best.  It took a long time, but this was the first time she worked on my head.    Probably won't take as long, next time.

I don't expect anyone to applaud.  -grin-  It's wayyyyy pushing boundaries, for a woman of my age.   Judi Dench is older than I am, but....!     She has a bigger head and thicker hair, and a body shape, to balance the lack of hair.  I don't have any of these things.

I simply wanted it.

And I like to push boundaries.  😉

I love how you found background to perfectly match the flowers. I think I have never seen Nasturtiums. They are really pretty, and I love how their leaves are so round. I bet you feel so much better with your hair cut!

You do know that they are edible, don't you? My mother used to use them for garnish - both flowers and leaves.

"Edible Nasturtium Flowers and Leaves
Many people assume it is the leaves that are edible, like an herb or salad green, but you can use the flowers too, for culinary decoration and for eating. Both the leaves and the flowers have a peppery, spicy flavor and add a bite to green salads."

I would love the hair style!!! In fact the short look is the "in" style for women. I like the ease of taking care of it ...wash rinse repeat. ...and finger dry!!!

I have many, many times had very short hair. Isn't it great getting ready and not having to do much with your hair? Mine is long now and I'm getting the itch to cut it off again but the growing out phase when you want to change is so annoying. I hate that some women do not feel feminine if they cut their hair super short.

Love nasturtiums, I should try to grow some this year. Good luck to your husband in growing his.
Bet your hair looks just fine, I need to get mine trimmed again, this time think I will go to another hairdresser, the one I have been going to talks too much and does not concentrate of what she is doing. Not happy with the last cut she gave me.

Perfect. If it makes you happy, that’s all that matters.

Nasturtiums are a very pretty flower but I haven't grown them yet. I am a big fan of Judi Dench and her classic style, from her hair to her fashion sense. I bet your new 'do' looks great.

I love nasturtiums. They can grow almost wild here :)

Well. that is just why I like you, you push the boundaries. I grow nasturtiums and LOVE them. I find them easy to grow and beautiful. They also work as a cut flower. And you can eat them.
