The other day, I was looking out the window over the kitchen sink.... There were 2 birds on the pool fence vines. "He" seemed to have something in his beak, and "He" was following the "She"... When "He" would get too close, "She" would fly a ways in front. Then "He" would fly in front of her, with his 'gift.' Over and over, until he got tired and flew away.
Guess "She" just didn't want to choose "Him."
I love watching the birds in the Spring....
Guess it's time to "break out" the BUNNIES!!!!
Do you have a lot of decorating or preparing for Easter? If so, when do you begin to prepare?
Here, it's time to change the mantle. But other than that, I don't do decorating.
Dinner is unknown. I'd really like to "gather," but that all depends on whether one of the Grand Kids in school, has the 'sniffles' or not. -sigh-
But Spring has to get here. Nice weather. More able to be outside. So who cares about Easter Dinner? ππππ

Hi,
I have decorated for spring and Easter. I have a cute spring candy dish that says "somebunny needs a treat" it is full of jelly beans right now.. but they will not last long. ;-)
What an awesome Beatrix Potter post!! And I love how your header shows just the bunny ears, because he is not quite here yet. Yes, I really decorate the living room and kitchen. And will be showing it all on my blog soon. I hope you will show your mantel.
I used to being out my Easter egg cup collection, but haven't for a couple of years. I blame it in CONvid.
I would've really enjoyed watching the birds courtship. lol
Hope you had a great Birthday!
I don't decorate as much for any of the holidays as I used to except for Christmas. Things like blankets and kitchen towels and placemats change with the seasons though.
We don't care for ham much and our usual go to lamb has tripled in price so I bought a bone in turkey breast to cook for Easter dinner. We'll probably have mashed potatoes, a couple of veggies and deviled eggs. I'm keeping it simple now.
When I was growing up at home Easter was always Church and dinner with family. When I was grown it was the same. I loved decorating eggs. Now nada.
I don't decorate for the different seasons or holidays except for Christmas. I just leave all my 'stuff' that I like out all the time. I have nothing in boxes put away.
I sure with our weather would be back to spring. Another winter day for us!
Here I am! For some reason your posts aren't popping up on my reader. Weird. I was away from blogging for a while so missed seeing your posts then, too.
I did do a bit of decorating but don't do all the stuff I used to do.
I hope you have a wonderful Spring..AND. wishing you a Happy Birthday. Hugs- Diana
Love the Peter Rabbit images. We don't celebrate Easter as such but we usually decorate some small gathered branches with little eggs, and have a chocolate egg hunt in the garden.
We are considering Easter dinner but our celebrations depend on the shifts our daughter, a nurse, is working. We rarely celebrate an occasion on “the day,” which is fine with us.
I'm doing my Easter decorating tomorrow! All of the green and shamrock stuff will be put away and out will come the bunnies! Purple fairy lights will go the length of my stair railing off the front porch, and I have a big beautiful new spring wreath of silk flowers. I can't wait! As for Easter dinner, I care! I will be making ham with pineapple casserole and some kind of potatoes, and deviled eggs and whatever else sounds good! xoxo
