From "Off Duty" article in WSJ
"Crisp bright colors bring new energy that attracts people beyond the floral itself. This new energy is contagious, and I see this era of florals sticking around for quite some time." So says a New York City designer.
And here are some "new releases."

But do ordinary people, read such, and rush out and buy new paint, wallpaper and furniture coverings???? I doubt it. 😉
And here we have, what is already in our home.
*Hooray!!!*
We already have bright florals.
We don't *have to* redo!

How about you!!!
Are you rushing out, to deck your home, in the *Latest Thing*?

I try to keep things 'timeless' with solid basics.
For a number of years we had a red couch and chairs and I loved it so much. It lasted 25 years and has now been replaced. I wish we could have found the same thing. lol We settled for boring gray.
Enjoy your Sunday!!
Your wallpaper pattern is very pretty, what I would choose for myself. I have one room left that is wallpapered. We took down a couple of rooms because it just wasn't to our taste (there before we moved in). Our home needs a good coat of paint more than anything. I am not one to follow trends and that goes for clothes too. I have clothes in my closet that need to go but I guess what they say is, wait long enough and they will be fashionable again :)
Well, you know what they say, eventually everything comes around. Yours is beautiful, and it would be like living in a garden all year round!! No, I don't run out and buy things, but looking thru magazines and online does give me ideas. And sometimes I even follow up on them!
No, I've never decorated as the new fads come out. Just keep things and colors around me that I LOVE. :)
I do like the florals!!
No florals in our house. I like it, but after we got the wall paper off, we swore to never deal with wallpaper again!
I never rush for the new things, I usually start to like it shortly before it goes out of style :)
No florals in our house either... though there has been a floral sofa a time or two...LOL
Re te turtle in my post, it belongs to my granddaughter.
I like wallpaper, but haven't had any for decades. Love your...very pretty!! (I always decorate for own preference ...never go what's en vogue!)
Well we cannot cover up logs with wallpaper! Anyway, I like flowers to be outdoors. Our red and white checker theme has been here for over 60 years and there is no desire to change anything at all.
The florals remind me of my grandmother’s house. I loved them then, not so much now.
People are now more influenced by "influencers!" More likely to do something someone on Instagram has done than from an article in the newspaper.
I like an English cottage style. Timeless.
I'm not a 'latest thing' sort of person but I do find it difficult to resist a flower. Love your wallpaper.

Well, since we are staying with friends into our house gets up and going, nope. Although I do like your wallpaper, smiles. Have a great day!
It appears you are right on trend. No, I don't follow the latest styles. X
That's such a pretty wall paper pattern. I think designers and retailers are always looking out for people to spend money over and over again, so they foster discontent. I love florals but don't have very many in my home. Hmmm. Time to go through the fabric stash and maybe make some new couch cushions.
