As you can see, from the above photo, we have come a long way, with mobile phones!
π
And I have finally come into the present, with my new Lively Jitterbug 3. π±
My "Grands" couldn't help me, because Covid is in their house again. Our older son came over and got me going. He set me up with Instacart. And on my own, I managed to get a grocery order!!!!! πππΆπππ₯πππππ
π±
Then I proceeded to *conquer* texting!!! Even sent a picture, taken on my phone, in a text. I am just so proud of myself!!! -gigggggles-
π
When it Pings, that I have a text, it's like the old fun of hearing the "You've Got Mail" *music*. Remember how much fun, that was?????????
π±
But must admit, the phone has easy to read and understand Instructions.
π
And... Only using it, with family. The land line is our general all purpose phone. The 'Lively Jitterbug' is for family texting, ordering groceries, and safety, when out in the car. Oh and power outages. I don't want to have My Whole Life, on my smart phone. π

Congratulations on becoming a High-Tech Bunny! Have fun with your new phone :)
I think Jitterbugs are awesome! And you have mastered it! Your lily Of The Valley header is stunning.
We haven't had a landline for probably 30 years. I loved cellphones...
You're doing good!!!!
Good for you! I still don't have plans to get one. If it ever will be "necessary" I will re-consider. Less is more........
Yes I r3emember the "you've got mail" anytime I opened my computer and logged onto AOL! Such good memories of simpler times!
It sounds like you're getting the hang of using it already. X
We still use a landline too. We are dinosaurs in our neighbourhood.
Good luck with your new phone. :-)
Glad you are liking your new phone. We haven't had a land line for years and years.
Hooray for you!
PS - my hubby picked a cute little bouquet of lily of the valleys for me yesterday. They are so sweet - and smell so good!
I am glad you are enjoying having it. We still have a landline, and I use it for most business. Not that I have to do much on the phone. But I do feel naked if I leave and forget my cell phone. Does not happen very often.
Glad you are enjoying your new phone. This was an interesting post about the origins of the mobile phone.
This is absolutely wonderful. I have a picture in my mind's eye of you enjoying your new phone. xoxo
