He posted a very informative and moving entry.
Many, many, many comments... People interested... People grateful for this information... People's personal experiences with the topic. Etc.
And WHAMO! On comes this woman, with a "bone to pick," as the old saying goes.
Not just "a bone to pick"!
She was "spoiling for a fight"!
😮😯😮😯😮😯😮
Some readers continued with normal comments. Some rose to defend the person whose blog, this was on.
And the owner of the blog, kept trying to answer her complaints, and apologize, if he had offended her. A Saint, as far as I was concerned.
She was being an old-fashioned-TROLL.
For whatever reason.
And the worst part..... She is a well known blogger, among those UK bloggers. NOT some random 'nut' who happened on his blog, and just wanted to fight.
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
😮😯😮😯😮😯😮
Bloggers who post controversial topics, are used to such.
But gentle bloggers, shouldn't have to be. At least, that is my opinion.

Every blogger has a choice of whether or not to post a comment on her blog. The easiest thing is not to post such a comment of course. The other thing is to post the comment so that one can have an open dialogue with another person. A respectful exchange of ideas is welcome but abuse isn’t of course.
I find that while I still comment on as many blogs as I always have, some comments are not posting any more. I think it has something to do with the format of the comment section on some blogs now but I don’t know.
Oh my!!! Trolls are not good to have in blog land.
I agree! We should use blogging to lift others up and make people feel better. LOVE your gorgeous header today!!
{{{Rolling}}} Thanks I needed this laugh...and to answer the comment you left over at my blog, "Are you crying yet? Hearing all those negative things, about your 'beloved flip-flops'? -gigggggles-"
----gurllllllllll I am rolling with laughter. NOPE. NOT. LOLOLOLOLOL
The world is full of all kinds of people. Thank goodness there are more good conversations than negative. That blogger must be a very unhappy person.
I agree. I have comment moderation for this reason. I get crazy spam comments trying to sell things or to link to disgusting sites, but every once in a while a troll shows up. All those comments go straight to the trash.
There are nasty people out there. I think a lot of commenting that can be hurtful is for the fact they don't THINK it thru before they publish. Politics is one subject that is just that...a subject that is entirely individualistic and should be on the person's BLOG, not in comments. Many many wrongs do not make it right (no matter the subject or opinion).
I say, if you can't say nice, don't say at all.
Oh dear. I had a UK troll for years; he even caused trouble for my family. He was of a certain lifestyle persuasion and happened upon my blog at some point for some reason, and disliked me vehemently for my political points of view. I have only a few rules pertaining to comments on my blog: stay on topic, don't cuss or use any kind of vulgarity, and if you have a beef with me, that's fine but leave my family out of it. He broke all three most of the time so naturally I allowed only a few of his comments to be published. I don't understand why people can't just move on if they read something with which they disagree. There are lots of hills out there to die on but a random blog post? No. Not worth it. However I would not describe myself as a "gentle" blogger, haahaaha ... I am too sarcastic for that. So be it. That's why there is a click-out button. xoxo
I use comment moderation because I don't think my lovely readers need to be exposed to some of the trash I receive. It is pointless and sometimes rude and it belongs only in a trash bin. That UK blogger allowing such comments to be posted is simply being too nice to people who don't deserve it. I feel for him.
