Had bad experience with first place, I went to, for hearing aid. Soooooo, a setback. Hope to carry on with my quest soon.
Life continues to be thick, with health related appointments. Guess we should be glad we are still "pottering along", and able to go to such appointments. But it does get tiresome.

Loved "Murder In Provence" on BritBox, but sad it only had few episodes. But enjoyed it enough, to think we'll watch them again. Probably pick up clues, we missed, first time.
BritBox sent me a list of suggestions of similar shows... Which we will have to try.

Europe having similar heat spell and they do not usually have a/c. Wondering why well off Europeans do not get even a window a/c unit for bedroom, so they could at least sleep....

I have a border online friend who claims the British heat wave isn't as bad as reported?!! Believe our news or his, that's the question. Here heat index is 113° right now.

We just got Brit Box last night, and I am excited!! I adore your sweet drwings here, they remind me of Beatrix Potter. I have no idea WHY Europeans do not have air conditioning!! Is Europe colder than America, who knows? Costco has very reasonable hearing aids, and Consumer Reports rates them as one of the best you can buy. They have an audioligist who works with you. So if you were only to pay for a one month membership, the money you would save on a hearing aid would still be substantial. Your flower header is gorgeous...Zinnea?

I didn't know they don't usually have AC in Europe. I've been hearing about the heat there and people dying from it. I'm surprised they don't have AC too!

I have a friend that lives in Europe. She has a number of fans but yes, no A/C unit. I think the heat wave happening there now is like the cold snap that hit Texas a couple of years ago. It just never happens and people have been caught off guard. I'd imagine before next summer a lot of people will be better prepared.

We are hot here too... but then again I was reading the weather report from 100 years ago in this neck of the woods and it was in the 100's back then. I think the media may forget it is called, weather, and we the people actually do not have control over it.

I'll have to look for Murder in Provence, I love a good mystery. We don't have BritBox but do have Acorn, one of my favorites is Brokenwood Mysteries, filmed in New Zealand...8 seasons I watch over & over. Hot & Humid here in the Midwest USA (I'm sorry, I'm not sure where you are) making any outdoor work miserable, but yes, A/C is a must. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, so good to "meet" you! Mary

Ugh I don't know how anyone sleeps in summer without an A/C unit, unless they live somewhere where it never gets above sixty degrees. Sorry about your hearing aid setback but I am hoping that it will soon be ironed out. I hate doctor appointments (actually I hate all appointments, hahaha) but I guess the good thing is that they are trying to help you both. xoxo
