😞 Why? 😞

Yes.

This is a new post.

Even though, same lead photo.

He had an amazing career.  Because of hard work, amazing life style, and total commitment and concentration.

He had a lovely wife and beautiful children.

His stats insure that he is The GOAT>>>Greatest Of All Time.<<<

He had his "TB12" company and a "Clothing Co.", plus a tv game coverage contract.

He retired.

😊

And he came back to play another season.

😡

His wife was furious..  She was (probably) tired of worrying about him being hurt, during every game.   After leaving her career and concentrating on the children for 12 years, she felt it was time that she could take up her career again, and do "Do Good" Projects, with her fame.  And he take over her role, of full time care of children/family.

🏈

He did not.   She left him.   Probably thinking it was the only way, to get his attention.

But he plays on.

😞

I tried to watch his game last night.  But the magic was gone.  No longer did I really care.

I used to love to watch the total concentration on his face.  His constant intense, steely look.... Not last night...

 😞  😞  😞  😞

The first half was terrible.  I don't even know who won finally.  I don't care.

😞

It's sad, to lose a Hero.

Might say, it would be better, to never have had one.

But I don't agree.

I had a couple of years of great fun, due to following Tom Brady.   Should remember that...  Should remember that...

😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊

And thank you so much, to Life In New Zealand and Hootin' Annie's Day Trippin', for understanding the joy of watching a favorite team.  I know it is hard for some, to understand, any such.  And I appreciate this.  But I am very grateful, for a couple of Kindred Spirits, who do understand!

😊

Yes... I see nothing wrong with following a sport. As long as I don't become a fantastic and carried away on controlling my life. There is a time a 'great' should step out of the limelight.

She probably also got tired of him being on the road so much, weekends, holidays. I completely understand why she left him.

What a story! I knew none of this. It does seem like he put his career before his wife, but of course we don't know the whole personal story. Sad! Did you see that player on the Miami Dolphins go down for the second time, and what his fingers did? A black cat!! I sure hopepeople leave them alone this month!!

Unfortunately, some sports people just do not know when they should stop. Retiring at your peak leaves your greatness intact :)

It sounds like such a sad situation. I'm sorry you lost your hero after following him all this time.

That is so sad! I didn't know she left him. He should have just stayed retired.

WOW!! Thank you for the update. I have been out of the loop regarding NFL news.

I am praying A.R #12 of the Packers continues to fight for freedoms. He has been very vocal regarding Medical Freedoms!

I love baseball but football has always been a mystery to me! Never could understand what was so great about it! But that's just my opinion! Tom Brady just probably missed being in the limelight and all the praise and attention he received!

That is really sad and priorities really need to be kept in order. Sorry for the ending.

It's always sad with something takes the joy out of something that we love. I'm sorry to hear that. Just my two cents...I just read that his net worth is 250 million dollars. Think of all the good that could be done...retired, while his heath is good and his family is young. They should be the priority...

I've been wondering if his wife actually did leave him. Seems like I see that photo of her sticking her finger at him, a lot! :)

I do understand the joy of watching a favorite team ... just not a football team. We are huge Chicago Cubs fans and I wept when, one by one, nearly all the pivotal players from the 2016 World Series team were traded away. Anthony Rizzo (my dog is named after him), Kris Bryant, Javier Lopez ... it was heartbreaking. I don't watch them as much now although TG is the very definition of a die-hard Cubs fan. I have thought of you every time I've seen Tom and Gisele in the news recently. I don't understand why people who have everything, can't figure it out. As for her, what she needs (among other things, apparently), is a cheeseburger. xoxo
