Have you ever started to write something to post... Thinking of your lovely Dear Readers... And stopped!
Realizing that your posts do not just show, to your lovely Dear known Readers... But rather, to all the world, who is on the World Wide Net.
-sigh- It can make one not wish to share certain things, thoughts, happenings.
But then, an awful lot of Bloggers, do not ever consider this. They share many daily happenings, their regular weekly/monthly happenings and 'goings,' etc., etc., etc.
I really do not like to enumerate the patterns of my life. Someone who knows your hourly, or daily, or weekly, or monthly patterns, knows way tooooo much about you.
Your turn...
What say you...?
Please and thank you.

I have also wrote a post from my heart and then decided not to publish. Thinking it was too personal.
Such wonderful images today! My favorite is the one with the umbrellas. No, I do not post routines, especially when we will be gone. Also it can be dangerous to post the time you will be on vacation. NONE of my regular followers would ever take advantage of this, but our blogs do go out everywhere on the web.
I will say I have "met" some absolutely lovely, kindred spirits through blogging, ones I wish lived down the road...what a joy to learn from then and "chat" with them!
However; that being said, I don't share my hometown or my kids' names in my blog. If I have, it's absolutely been an oversight/accident. Don't get me wrong, there are wonderful folks out there, but hiding in the shadows are the not so wonderful. That's just my two cents...each person must do what they feel is best for them and their family.
I guess I'm a sharer and don't think so much about the crazy people that may be reading. But I should!
I guess I'm one of the ones who say too much. Everyone knows my daily walking routes. I really don't worry about it though.
There is a lot that happens in my life that I never ever share online, whether it is in my blog or Facebook (the only two things I subscribe to). I know what you mean, though, as some people leave nothing to the imagination when describing their lives.
Have a great day :)
I think you should always exercise a certain amount of caution when sharing information, whether online or not :)
Now-a-days openness is par for the course. I keep most thoughts to myself. I keep saying 'big brother is watching'. But then again, what goes on a blog may or may NOT be true.
I am who I am and like me or not I don't care. I'll tell all bout my daily, weekly, monthly, patterns and if others don't like it they can choose to not read it. Simple. No big deal here. It is life to the core.
I don't think too much about it to tell the truth. But then again, I don't put too much personal stuff on there.
That is a great quote from LMM. Anne was a wise one. There is only so much I will share!
Love the Anne with an e quote. I share less than I used to. But I also don't want to live in fear.
WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.....(grin) we all know I overshare, no sense in denying this, LOL. It's all good. I am a real person ---I know when not to overshare---if that makes sense. But then again, since I am real, and a grieving mom, sometimes the good Lord lays it on my heart to share what's on my mind/heart. Does that make sense? Someone somewhere is going through whatever as I am, grin.
I share what I feel comfortable sharing. If an event has already taken place, it makes me happy to tell about it for whomever might like to read. I hold back lots of opinions and thoughts but some, I put out there. It's all good. xoxo
