Have used a tablet case forever. The other day, I took it off. I prefer using it, without the old floppy case. It's not in much danger, because I use it in the same place, when sitting in my comfy chair. Or at kitchen table, rarely, but where I am now. Actually composing this post.
My usual blogging spot is at my old computer. It's really so old, that I try to save it, when I can. If I can compose on my tablet, and then put pictures in, at my computer, it saves some use, on my ollllldddddd lMac.
Hope you have all your plans set for Thanksgiving. Here luckily, all we have to do is show up. Family is doing the rest. At our age that's very nice. :-))))
Cold weather is truly here. Brrrrrr.... But more seasonable, than those warm temps.
And all the landscape is mostly a dull brown. Which can be a bit depressing. I always think of a witch/artist, who said she finds the muted colors of November, to be calming. I haven't been able to convince myself of this. How about you? Can you find November's dull colors, to be calming?

Well, I do think November's colors are pretty, but I don't know about calming. I am severly allergic to the dried fall leaves, and have been in an ambulance just because we left the front door open when a pile of raked up leaves was in the front yard.
I will be cooking but have help. How nice you are going to others for Thanksgiving. I love all your pretties today. Happy Thanksgiving!
I find the short days and the winds to be depressing. I am working at feeling better about it by walking in nature every day.
Have a great Thanksgiving with your family. You deserve the break from cooking! Enjoy!
I find the colors of November kind of drab, but with some snow everything looks nice again. :)
I don't see them as calming either, just kind of dull and drab.
I love the pics you shared today. They are so charming. I especially like the one of the kids looking in the oven because the drawing reminds me of my old reader books.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I don't mind the dullness or lack of color for November. Here, tho, it's green year 'round (unless a drought).
Loving your first graphic and the words are sweet. I, too have two very old computers. One doesn't connect to the internet anymore because the system cannot be upgraded. The other has awful sounding speakers. Oh well... Hey! Good that you are having not to prepare for the Thanksgiving dinner so just enjoy it. The awful cold will soon pass and it will be spring again.
Lovely drawings. Yes, Let us be thankful for all the good things.
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving.
I do have to admit, I like the shorter days and a change to rest from all the outdoor work. The hot, humid days of summer really challenge me. While I love a summertime tomato, I hate the heat of the days that give me that terrific tomato! Hoping you have a great Thanksgiving...I'll be cooking and thankful both kids are home from college...makes my heart happy! Hugs, Mary
The least said about November the better, as far as I am concerned. I am looking forward to some festive sparkle.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving. Xx
I can't say I find Novembers color to calming but more like I feel resigned to the next few months. At least the trees are prettier when they are covered with snow! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Happy Thanksgiving ! I love Autumn days and November too
