Change in the weather... ✨✨✨

Monday, after the hurricane went through, it was a perfectly lovely August day.     So I did some things, I have been wanting to do.   But in the heat/humidity, I couldn't "muster up" the will to do them.    I deep cleaned in the kitchen.    And I am so pleased.

🌼🌻🌼🌻
And I was not hot, from so doing.    As I said, a perfect August day here, on Monday.  And happily, it seems to be continuing...   The nice days and cool nights.

Btw, I know my flower photos, do not compare to many blogger's pics, of their flowers.    I have a little old point and shoot camera, and can not do the photography, which fancy cameras can.  But I keep clicking...    ~smile~

🌼🌻🌼🌻
I am really enjoying reading a "real book," again.   My "Midnight Sun" which came on Monday.    It came, in the wind/rain of the hurricane.    And the Dear Mail Delivery person, wrapped it in a plastic bag, so I would not get drenched.
🍑
It is a huge book!!!!!    Not broken into separate books, like the original "Twilight" Series was.    There are 658    pages in it!    And it measures about 2" thick!    ~smile~
🍑
But I am reading it carefully, and not rushing.   This is all there is.   No "next book(s)," like there were, 15 years ago.   So I don't want to read too quickly.    ~smile~    And it is delightful...!!!!

If we are waiting for something to be delivered, you just know it will arrive on the only rainy day of the week! What a wonderful mailman! Your black eyed susan's are beautiful. I love wildflowers! I have been blogging for maybe 10 years? Anyway, in all those years, with so many followers, no one has EVER noticed that I change the color of my letters with each post. You are the only one! You are so observant, thank you!!

You are right! I have known bloggers to have the same header and look to their blog for 10 years! I like to get the most out of posting, with words, pictures, and design & color! I think some people never change it because they don't know how. Or they are too busy, or it is too overwhelming. I DREAD having to use the new format! It may be harder to change the look then.

Those are gorgeous flower pictures and there's not a thing wrong with your photography! As to the length of your book, it was C.S. Lewis who said "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." Thanks for stopping by to see me! I envy you that lovely cool August day. xoxo

I think your flower photos are lovely. That book sounds a bit daunting, being such a large volume, but I hope you enjoy it. Have a great day :)

Andy has a point-and-shoot too. The pictures aren't fancy, but the camera is light and in his pocket, ready to use. It's invaluable. I'm glad your weather is getting more bearable. I wilt in the heat too.

Your flower pictures look perfectly delightful to me. Wizardry with fancy (and expensive) lenses is not all that counts!

I just read your comment so I hopped over here again! There are always hawks around here but we have such an abundance of birds that I don't think we'll lose all of our songbirds. Florida has all kinds of birds and lots of them. I don't like to think of big birds eating smaller birds but I'm not in charge of all of that! heeheehee! I just enjoy watching them. Happy weekend my friend and thanks for the sweet comments.
