Have we...❓ ❓ ❓ ❓

~
"Bored and depressed during lockdown, Madison Namohala tried to cheer herself up by dying her blond hair bright pink. When she finished applying the dye, she started sobbing.
.
Instead of pink, her hair was “literally the color of an orange Crayola crayon,” says the 24-year-old Idaho resident. She tried applying a rose-gold conditioner, but that turned the tips of her hair pink. The roots remained “fiery orange.”
.
She was eventually able to remove the orange, but it took $1,200, three appointments with two different hairstylists, and dying her hair jet black—the opposite of what she’d wanted. Now with her pale skin, she said, “I honestly look like a vampire.”  ("Wall Street Journal")
.
.
Well....
At least.....
😨 😧 😩 😪 😱
None of us have done something like this....
.

Have we?????????????????
.
😜

Not quite that drastic, but back when I was younger I did have more than my share of hair color disasters!

Well, if hat's how it turned out in the first picture, I LIKE it! I don't know what I would have done if I didn't like it, but I would not have paid over $1,000! No, I've not done anything like this, guess I am too old to get wild ideas now!

I forgot to tell you how much I love your thoughtful comments! You are right about the lights, autumn ones would be better. I think where the idea went viral was on Instagram. We have not put any out, just because we don't have any.

I just read your comment to me. No, it was not me who posted that. I have gotten so confused myself that I have commented on the wrong blog! I guess those re Senior Moments.

Oh my. It could be worse though. Hair grows!

I won't color my hair...I like my snowy white ...(and wrinkles to go with it! lol)

I can think of a lot better ways to spend that money...crazy.

Oh m'gosh! When I retired and we moved here in 2018 I had to bid adieu to my uber talented but pricey hair guru. Well, when my new hairdresser tried to replicate the 'auburn' I came out looking just like the orange Dawn dishsoap. This lady you've profiled? I think I'd just shave my head and start over.

Oh dear, poor woman. It is a wonder she didn't just cut it all off and start again! As Marie says, hair grows!

Well...since you asked! I put color on my blond hair and it got REALLY dark! I had to go to the salon and get my hair bleached to get it back to dirty blond! lol I always wanted to try a really dark red but blond hair is tricky...it soaks up the color! Now I'm just happy with a nice light shade of silver!

I don't see why she went to such expense...I would just enjoy it...I sort of like the color.
