November...🍂 🍂 🍂 🍂

November has never been an easy month, to find Joy in, for me.  It's dark and gloomy and rainy and etc., etc., etc.   But!   I try to find something, about every month, to enjoy!!!   So I was happy to find some words, by a lady...    She said that the starkness and the color palette of November, are restful for her.  😌   What a lovely way, to view this month!!!!   :::::::::::::::   Do you already enjoy November?   If not, how have you found, to "try" to find Joy, in it?

🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂

I love this painting!!!!   It speaks to me, of the Quiet Wisdom of this older woman.  To me, she is choosing this darker time of year, to symbolically get rid of, aspects of herself, which are no longer good for her.   Like a quick temper, a tendency to worry, a lack of patience, etc.  She is considering these not-helpful-traits, to be written on each leaf.    And as she feeds the leaves to the fire, she is symbolically releasing these traits.

At this darker time of year, when the earth is going to sleep, to rest, in preparation, for the coming Spring and growth beginning again.......    It seems a lovely time to let the earlier twilights, encourage us, to take time to look inward...    Embrace what we love, and what is good for us.... And try to eliminate, those traits, which are not.

And a lovely time, to allow ourselves to get more rest...

Sleep is very, very important, for our bodies!!!!  While our consciousness rests, our body is working hard!!!!   At healing!   At doing all the renewing things, which are necessary, for our health and well being!!!!!

It is not wasted time!!!!!!

I have turned Comments back on.  Bloggers love to be able to leave a Comment, no matter how long or short.   I do too!

But I am not ready to jump back into blogging, full time!  So I open Comments, with the caveat, that I won't yet, be commenting on all who leave a Comment.

I'm sure, you understand.

I'm so glad you turned comments back on. This is a wonderful post! I love the painting too. Of course here in Florida November is the time we might finally get a few cooler days and evenings which makes me look forward to it. I hope you are doing well. Happy November!

It was dark by 5:15 p.m. The leaves are almost gone from the trees. I love the exposed deciduous tree trunks and branches this month and the leaf covered trails. Getting out for a walk always helps me too.

Take care. Hope this month is better than expected.

Autumn is my favorite season, but I also love winter. It's so peaceful and quiet, a good time for inner growth.

I am glad you turned the comments on too. I love the pictures you choose in your posts. The lady with the leaves is thought provoking. Great post BB. Happy that you are feeling better but certainly don't need a return visit from you while you are not 100 percent, even though I am always happy to see you. Take good care of yourself, Happy Fall!

What a great positive way to view the coming of winter.
Please don't feel pressured to blog or make return-comments. We all go through tough times and it is more important to care for yourself and family first.
Sending you hugz, Mxx

We do understand and completely agree that you should do what you can, when you can. I do love to leave comments but it's not conditional. Ever. So with that I say, I adore November! October used to be my favorite month (and in some ways it always will be) but it's just so HOT in South Carolina in October, that it sort of ruins it for me. November is coolish, and comfortable, and I love the colors. xoxo
