Time to re-look-at.......💛✨🔥✨💛

Since England went back into Lockdown on Thursday, I looked at some of the U.K. ladies on Instagram.     One lady...  "simplyscandikatie"  had a lovely idea.  To make an IG 'hashtag'  called  "letshyggelockdown" and have others put links to their photos of...  "How they are making their homes...   have Hygge" there.  They are lovely inspiration.

In the U.S., we aren't in Lockdown.  But isn't it still, the time for looking at Hygge, again?    Seems as if any time, is a good time, for making our homes, as cozy and comfy and warm and having the feeling of being a retreat from the world, as possible.

We sure all need some comfort and coziness right now! And I adore your feline fall photo!! No creature knows how to find a cozy spot better than a kitty.

Amen! I agree with you that we should always try to make our homes a special place - as comfortable and homey as possible. Have a good weekend.

I'm starting here with a good deep cleaning before the holidays roll around. Not that anyone will be inside the house over the holidays, it's just for ourselves :)

My apartment has been my retreat for years... we've been here 46 years now, and it's full of warm memories. I think of it as my playpen...it's not fancy at all, but I love it.

Sounds like a good idea :) I'm not much for decorating but just happy with the way my home is. It is us and that is good enough for me :)

I have been catching up with your posts and am really glad you are feeling better. I had worried about you while you were in the hospital. Your hygge and candles in the windows and full moon posts were really perfect. I am so immersed in being home right now I have no desire to go out at all. in response to your question about November, I have been happy with it for about 20 years... before that, I just hated the whole month due to some awful and sad experiences... I finally decided after bad things happened in other months that I would have to rule out a lot of months for that kind of thing... Pretty soon there would be zero year left! lol... I hope you keep feeling stronger and better!
