Thank You!!!! 😊 And would you consider...? 😊

Thank you so much!!!!!  To the lovely ladies, who helped me find how to change my Date Line!!!!!!   Silly, silly me!  😐   I had found "Advanced"...   But had not kept scrolling down, in the necessary list!!!!!!!   Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh me!!!!!!  😕

 ✨ 💛 ✨ 💛 ✨

Does anyone else, want to join me, and my neighbor, in putting candles in our front windows?   😊   I do not have a Christmas wreath up yet.    But I am putting electric candles, in the downstairs front windows.

I prefer the simple electric ones, which I can easily plug in, and have an on/off switch.   I never leave such turned on, when not home.   So I like the on/off switch.

But there are battery powered ones.  If you prefer.

Whatever kind....   It's just the thought...   Of "candles in the window".   At the last 2 months, of this  *Annus Horribilis*, to quote Queen Elizabeth in her famous speech, given in November 1992.   Because it has been a horrible year, thanks to all the results of the Covid-19 Wuhan Virus.

And we all need a bit of cheerful hope...

    😊

I will join you but it will have to wait a bit. Mine are packed away with Christmas stuff and I probably won't get to that until Thanksgiving weekend.

This is a year which we will remember as long as we have memory.

I would not mind candles in the window....not sure I will put any in mine. But I LOVE seeing them in other's windows. Just homey and heartwarming.

Lights in the window are truly one of the prettiest things ever. I have some electric candles that I should dig out and put at least in the upstairs windows. It gives such a homey glow. xoxo

We don't decorate for holidays, except Andy puts a Christmas tree and lights on the roof of our house up on the land.

At our old house I did this. Its an old tradition in Lancaster County, but when we moved, the house we live in doesn't have window sills! But I do have string lights in the garden and that makes our home cheery and welcoming!

Lovely thought but I really don't have too many windows where candles would work :)

I think string lights can also look nice and cheerful.

All the best Jan

I have candles for my window and will be putting them up this Christmas again :) I have always enjoyed walking in the neighborhood in the dark and seeing them. They always look so pretty.
