I also love to try to figure out, what the layout of the rooms, would be. In the front door, seems to be the living room. The chimney is to the left of the front door and living room, so there could be a fireplace, or a beautiful old stove there. I choose the stove, perhaps in white iron.
Since I "see" the kitchen, to the left, where the 2 candles are in a window... It is recessed from the front of the house, and seems, it would be a separate area, like a kitchen..... This stove, would thus, be heating both the living room, to the right, and the kitchen, to the left.
There is a bedroom, above the living room... Since heat rises, and one doesn't need a lot of heat in a bedroom to sleep, it could be heated by the heat from the stove, below.
The thing I don't agree with is, that the stacked wood cover, is where, it is necessary for the man to go out the front door, to get wood for the stove. I'd prefer a door, close to where the wood is stored... 😊
All this, is probably quite silly, but it is fun for me. 😊

Nothing wrong with a little imagination...and who of us can resist a bit of imagination when looking at a view like this, or even real houses?
I like the signage on the house "God*Bless*This*Home
Happy New Year Friend!

Like you, I find houses fascinating. I love a cold bedroom and will not allow heat into mine, no matter how cold it is outside! I'd rather snuggle under quilts. And you're right: the wood should be stacked closer to the door!~ But otherwise, that is a dreamy domicile ... xoxo
I don't think it's silly at all. I like those that use vivid imagination as you. And I like the idea of the wood stove.
Hurray for a warm cozy home when it's cold outside. 🙂
I love her artwork and the way she pictures home as well! This is fun for those of us who love home and houses!
I love that cozy in the snow cottage, too! I think you and my son would spend many happy hours with those architectural imaginations! I cannot tell you how many times we have backed up movies and shows so we could nail down the inner workings of a home or building. He was not pleased ---- exposing the fact that the inner set of Everybody Loves Raymond could not be inside the house they showed! Have a cozy New Year!
Such a warm homely picture, and I really love the cat in the window :)
This house reminds me of my childhood home with my grandparents ... it looks almost the same! If I close my eyes I see my grandmother in the kitchen and my grandfather harnessing the horses to the cart to go and cut the tree in the forest!
Thank you for reminding me of my grandparents' magic house!❤️
It's fun to let your imagination wander..good job!! Happy 2021
Hapoy New Year!
My dear "brook"!
I feel so sorry that you do not have a name!
May I call you Eem? (The Eem is a small river (about 18 miles) in the north of the province of Utrecht in the Netherlands.)
I will have to dig deep into my soul to have the courage to open the book in which you will be able to read about my grandparents. But when I get that far I will ask you for your email ... these days I am still busy with my family! Sorry for the inconvenience!
Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year! Hugs!
Me again ... 😅
