Lucky...😊 Happy...💕 Maybe???😕 And ADDITION

Yes, that is ice, this morning.  We had snow and freezing rain.   But still, storm "John" was gentle on us.    Much more gentle, than in other parts of our Country.   Best Wishes to those, without power, as a result of this storm...

We saw our Granddaughter's ring yesterday!!!!!!!!!   Oh it is lovely!!!!!   The diamond is oval.   With a smaller diamond, on each side.   The band is rose gold, and plain.    She did not choose the have-been-in-fashion-styles, with diamond chips all over the band.   I AM SO HAPPY!!!   I so, so, so dislike those rings!!!!!!!   -Happy sighhhhhhhhhh-

😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊💓 😊

And of course it was delightful, to see them!!!!!!    Even if, out in the driveway.  ::::::::::  They have picked a wedding date, but not till 2022.    And also lovely, they asked her Uncle (our son who lives next door) to officiate.   He was Mayor for years, and thus, is able to do so.

ADDITION

This is a jeweler's pic of her ring...
😊

No, I don't have a picture of her ring.   And no, I couldn't get good pictures of the snow/ice storm.   -sigh-   I'm beginning to think, I ought to look into a new camera.  ::::::::::    I blog.   It would be nice to be able to take more of my own photos.   Etc.  Etc.  Etc.   Sooooooooo, it is something to ponder.    Because I do ponder such things.   I don't just *jump* on some idea, like a new camera.   😊

Your description of her ring sounds just gorgeous! Oval with a small diamond on each side sounds unusual and beautiful!! I do not like the huge overdone ones! If you get a camera, I want the ring to be your first picture!! I also think they were wise to plan the wedding for next year. By then they should be able to have a Covid -free huge wedding.

Way too cold for me there! They are smart to plan the wedding off into 2022. My son is getting married in February. Thankfully the ceremony is outdoors, as much as I hate it I will not take the risk to attend the reception.

Oh, I wish you did have a pic of the ring...I don't know why. Just curious I guess. I just hope they have a long, happy life together.

What a pretty ring. The shape of the diamond is most unusual.
It looks cold at your place! Stay warm :)
