Have read that not seeing their comment, pop right up, in a blog's Comment Section, can really make some Readers upset. Can make some, not even bother to leave a Comment...

Comment moderation doesn't bother me at all. I also learned that you don't have to prove your not a robot to comment on a post either. Truth is I rarely go back to a post I've commented on anyway to see if my comment is there! Only if I asked a question! I love your snow pictures. The pool looks pretty neat. I thought it was a skating rink when I first saw it!.
I also have Comment Moderation on my blog ... that doesn't bother me at all not to comment!
Would you please try to send me some snow in the envelope ... I'm kidding!

I don't use comment moderation. I've only had annoying spam every once in a while, I just delete it. Others having comment moderation on doesn't bother me. The ones who have the extra verification to click all the things in the photos is a little annoying but it's not that big of a deal either way.
I use comment mod as well. I am never upset when someone uses it. To each their own I suppose. I don’t understand why it would upset anyone.
Seriously, about Mad Max?! Wow! Comment moderation doesn't keep me from commenting. Seems like there are more spam comments now than ever. But I do sometimes wonder if my comment really went through.
I also use Comment Moderation. I'm sure my readers don't want to be exposed to some of the total rubbish that arrives as spam, and I also find it means I get to read any comment made on an older blog.
It never stops me commenting on anyone else's blog - some readers are just not commenters and that is fine with me too.
I guess, really, it is best to do what you are most comfortable with yourself.
Comment moderation does not bother me...sometimes I used to not realize people were using it and would make a second comment before I did. I have it on full time at one of my blogs, and the other will post for the first couple of days after a post is made...then after a couple days those are moderated. I was getting horrible hate filled comments about Covid.
Comment moderation does not bother me at all. I can understand using it if a lot of garbage started appearing on one's blog.
I use comment moderation myself! I find its a wise thing, otherwise you can get links to inappropriate sites, or other spam.
I have never seen Mad Max. You have me curious.
