Yesterday, I said;
"Pardon me, while I go dig a hole, and pull a rock in, after me."
Today, I would like to post about, how to decorate it. But Blogger is not letting me add pictures. Interesting.....
Anyway, Brambly Hedge is the form of decor, I want to emulate. Those mice are so good, at making a dark space, comforting and cozy.
Their space seems to be inside a tree, but it still has the darkness, which a "Hole" would have. And they manage to make their homes appear lovely, warm and cozy.
Most everyone is familiar with Brambly Hedge, so you can imagine, the pictures I would like to post.
Please and thank you...

Personally. I would love to have a cabin, with a fire in the fireplace and my best friend sitting there till we could sit and talk as long as we wanted...with our grandchildren playing in the background
Oh, I just LOVE them!!! I even went to their "shop" tab! I recently bought a decal of a little mouse hole with the mouse standing inside serving tea. We will put it somewhere on the woodwork around the floor.
Oh my goodness I have never heard of Brambly Hedge until clicking on this post, and then I clicked on the link you provided, and I am instantly hooked. I think Poppy Eyebright is my favorite mouse but if I were to be one, I'd be Mrs. Crustybread. Now I'm going to have to figure out how to get the books for Dagny, who would FLIP over them. Thank you my friend! And now, I want to move to Brambly Hedge! xoxo
You could accomplish "cozy" I'm sure.
I was not familiar with these mice, but did click on your link. I'm sure I would love them because I love children's books (past primary teacher). I so wish you could post pictures of your "hole". I would take some cues from you because lately I've been just wanting to scream "stop the world! I want to get off!" But I'm going to do my best to make the best of things. Such a sad state our country is in...sad, sad, sad. But HAPPY NEW YEAR to you:)
I am a fan of Brambly Hedge too.
Those illustrations in Brambly Hedge are so adorable. One can look at them for ages and still see new things :)
Thank you!
