Did you know, that they make Retro Keyboards for
computers???? I didn't, until my Super~Cool Blogging
Friend Jenny told me. (Betcha' she has the Lipstick
one though...) ... See how the keys are concave?
Like typewriter keys were. Don't know about your
computer keyboard but my keys are flat. It must be
quite lovely, to feel those softly concave keys, under
your finger tips, again.............
~~~ π ~~~
Hmmmm, the more I think about it, the nicer it sounds.
My husband keeps asking me, what I want for my
Birthday. And I haven't had any ideas. Maybe I
now do. Maybe... I'll keep thinking about it.....
~~~ π ~~~
Did you see this?
"The drug company Moderna has begun a study that will test its COVID vaccine in children younger than 12, including babies as young as 6 months, the company said Tuesday.
The study is expected to enroll 6,750 healthy children in the United States and Canada."
I ask you... What parent gives a 6 month old infant,
to be tested on?????? Well, what parent gives over
any age child, to be tested on???????
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's things like this, and all the other awful, scary,
just plain old fashioned Evil things, going on in my
Beloved Country, and the world..... Which are not
doing my own health any good. Finding and reading
them, is not, I mean. And then I simply have to
put them on my blog. To share...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am thinking, I should take a week off. From
all my sources of Information. A week off from my
computer. A week off, even from Blogging. Since I
don't seem to be able to keep away from them, when I
am on my computer.
~~~ π ~~~
I have plenty to keep me occupied. I can clean the
house. Read all the books I have lined up. Go for
walks. Even just sit in the sun (Vitamin D) and ponder.
~~~ π ~~~
So, I ponder doing this....

Hi! Thanks for stopping at my blog. Any friend of Jenny's is a friend of mine. :)
I think those keypads are so cool! But I use a laptop, so it wouldn't work for me.
I saw the info on testing infants and kids and thought the same as you. Who would sign up their child for that? Crazy things really are going on.
I love that your granddaughter is going to wear your necklace on her wedding day. I would be thrilled too.
I would love to have a retro keyboard, as I learned to type on an old manual Underwood. Sadly, many of these pharmaceutical trials are held in very poor countries.
Mari my new keyboard syncs to my my MacBook Pro with three keystrokes! I think you'll find it will work with your laptop! And such fun. Miss Babbling Brook, I hope you will get a retro keyboard for your birthday because I'm pretty sure you would really enjoy the old-school feel of typing on it.
As to the rest ... I read the stories about testing the vaccine on children and I was appalled. I think that whatever you need to do to preserve your wellbeing, you should do. Perhaps a short hiatus would be just the thing, although we would miss you even if it were just for a week.
Sorry to add to your burden but I leave you with the following article (hope you don't mind my providing a link). Someone is going to have to romp and stomp all the way to the SCOTUS in order to show these power-hungry fools that they don't get to take kids away from parents for not wearing a mask out on the sidewalk! xoxo

I didn't know this, it is kinda cute, and very retro! Yes, I heard about the kids. And a news channel has already interiewed a woman who is letting her child get the vaccine. And so it goes...
I give myself breaks, usually day breaks. The computer I use for blogging has my son's gaming keyboard connected and it has concave keys.
I am so amazed that people might allow their babies to get an experimental vax. I can understand if a child is dying and they've tried everything, but there is an experimental drug that may help. That's different than taking a healthy child and allowing them to be experimented on!
I ask...what is the mentality of some parents. My goodness. But then, science is science. Yet, I know I wouldn't subject my children. I never heard of this keyboard. Kinda cool. (Main thing is...I Love your red bows decorations!)
Love the retro keyboard. I'll put it on my list. Hope you get yours.
As for the testing, I'm surprised any announcement was made. I'm sure other companies are testing right now and we know nothing.
Very controversial
I'm kind of used to the flat keys now but do remember the old kind.
I think I would like such a keyboard.
I love the keyboard Jenny had on her blog and love the one you pictured, too! I am going to check out and see if I can get one to work with my laptop! I don't understand the mentality of parents that would let their kids be used as guinea pigs for anything! Not worth risking your child's health or life for the greater good of the people!
I love that keyboard...
I saw a 12 yr. old who had wanted to be part of the testing and her parents let her. I sure don't think I would have wanted my child involved.
I found Jenny's blog through your blog, because I LOVED her comments she left you.
Praying for our nation. It breaks my heart what is going on.
