๐Ÿ˜ŠAdventures of the......๐Ÿ˜‹

I have been having some culinary adventures, in my quest for alternatives, to dairy based foods.  ๐Ÿ˜‹   Which (dairy) my gut will not allow me to eat.

I like to alternate an egg one day for breakfast, with yogurt the next day.   Dairy yogurt naturally has probiotics, but dairy upsets my gut.   This cashewmilk one, has to add them.   Which is fine.  I don't care how, as long as I get probiotics.   And I have tried goat yogurt.  OK, but harder to get.

I found this cashewmilk one, in a big container, in a store, closer to us.   A store which also carries other products, not found elsewhere.  I scoop some into a bowl, and stir in some peach jelly or some such.   Done!

And now, to my quest for non-dairy ice cream!  ๐Ÿ˜‹

Btw, you who enjoy real ice cream, are probably cringing, at this topic.  ๐Ÿ˜Š   I know.  I know.   But!!!  If your body reacted to dairy, the way my body does ๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜ฆ๐Ÿ˜ง๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฌ, you would easily forego real ice cream!

An added part of this problem is, that I can not eat chocolate.   And soooooo many, of all ice creams and ice cream substitutes, contain chocolate.  -sigh-

This above, was a trial, which did not go so well.  ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜‘

And my latest...  Avocado Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert!

I know!  You are not impressed with this possibility, to say the least.   ๐Ÿ˜•   But it does not taste like avocados!!!  Which would be pretty weird, in a dessert.   It's base is avocados.

Did you ever hear of Avocado Ice Cream?  I did, quite a while ago....

Tom Brady eats Avocado Ice Cream....  But back then, he was with the Patriots and I didn't like him.   ๐Ÿ˜    So I "pooo-pooooed" it.

Now he is with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and I am a FAN!!!   ๐Ÿ˜€

But no!  My Avocado Ice Cream, is not his Avocado Ice Cream!  His is chocolate, and much more healthy.

I just love learning about new products in the grocery store, and frequently buy ones that I find. It kind of makes the shopping more fun. I recently found orange creamsicle M&M's on Amazon, they cost a fortune! But I bought them for our granddaughter's birtday. They are the best M&M's I have ever tasted. Bu the way, we drink Blue Diamond Reduced Sugar Almond Milk, and I just love it! For me, it is even better than regular milk.

I am very lucky not to have any food issues. I can eat anything.
No, never heard of avocado ice cream - don't like avocados.

I enjoy my kindle but like you still read real books too. I have so much trouble getting the books from the library on my kindle that I'd rather just pay for KindleUnlimited.

I can't imagine not being able to eat chocolate or dairy. I am so thankful I have no food allergies or intolerance and feel for those who do. I will have to look for that avocado ice cream just to try it.

I don't watch football anymore but I admired Tom Brady for how disciplined he is on taking care of his body. Though I didn't watch the Super Bowl this year I was glad his new team won.

My next blog post is about culinary adventures lol. Wrote it yesterday, publishing it probably Wednesday.

So sorry you cannot have dairy. I knew you could make a lot of desserts with avocado but I had not heard of the ice cream. I hope you enjoy. Enjoy your Sunday!!

I don't eat chocolate either. But I do eat frozen yogurt occasionally.

Almond milk? Just a thought.

Wish I could say those all looked good but...nope!!!
I love milk and ice cream,,,kinda like yogurt but not in love with it. I've been having some tummy issues so I'm hoping it doesn't turn out to be a dairy issue!!!! I love my cow products:)

I used rice flour for dredging chicken wings. They were delicious and my gut was happy too.
