Above is one of our rhubarb plants, doing wonderfully this spring. But the thing, growing up in the middle, is bothering me. LOL My husband and daughter in law next door, are letting it grow, because they want to see the flower, it is supposed to produce. And there is a seed pod, developing, down at the bottom. They want to see if they can plant some, and produce more rhubarb plants. -grinnnnn-The temps have finally gone up, out of the cool/cold range! And I am officially in my summer cotton dresses!!!! I am so happy to put dark corduroy dresses up stairs! 3 of the new ones (the purple, yellow, and pink) are simple patterns. The one on the left, is a wee bit wild!!!!!!! -grin-
We love "Death in Paradise". Which is on, Saturday evenings. It's my "Happy Place." π When I want to calm down and forget all the Crap-O-La of living today... I try to envision living on an Island, where the people 'march to the beat of their own drum', and the way of life is more relaxed.
And my summer cotton long flowing billowing dresses, add to the illusion.

Hey, we gotta' do, what we gotta' do...!
I hope you are enjoying your Spring!
See you again, soon....

Nice to see a post from you. I do like the colors and patterns of all your summer dresses. Interesting with the rhubarb plant and it's growth. I like the quote to watch more sunsets than Netfix. I cancelled our Netflix about a month ago and haven't missed it yet!

The cat in your header looks just like our Simmy.Your summer dresses are divine!!! I love the summery colors and patterns! Where do you get them? This Rhubarb actually reminds me a bit of Yucca. It will be interesting to see what happens with it. I just love how the sun is shining on the leaves at the base of it.
We spent a few hours at the beach today. Such a great few hours! Love the prints in the dresses.
Your summer dresses are beautiful! Cotton dresses in the summer are so nice to wear to stay cool.
Enjoy the rest of your blog pause.
So good to see you, my dear friend! Your dresses are DARLING and I know you will both enjoy wearing them and look SO charming in them. Death in Paradise sounds good and I will have to check it out. Did you watch every episode of Vera already? I did and now I may start over, in the evenings when I'm too tired to do anything else. But I have been sitting outside by the pool to read in the evenings and that is so relaxing that the last thing I want to do is lounge in front of the TV. I much prefer the company of my flowers and a good book, with the soundtrack being birdsong. xoxo
Interesting that it's going to seed. I rarely wear dresses...but, I could sure live on an island ...living to my own beat of a drum.
Like the material for your summer dresses - very pretty.
My rhubarb has started growing too.
We love Death in Paradise too and watched it on DVDs from the Library.
Hi! It's nice to see a post from you. Our rhubarb died and we need to get some started again.
Hooray for summer weather.
I am going to check out that show. Sounds perfect for us!
Nice to hear from you!!!
I love summer dresses.
And I really love the colors of yours.
Hope all is well in your part of the world!
Your dresses look gorgeous. I'm envious of all those beautiful fabrics and the weather you are having. X
Hi,
I love your dresses. Where do you shop?
Our rhubarb will be ready for picking this week. I will bake my favorite rhubarb scones.
