🏊 It's cool, but he loves to swim...🏊

I have to use a last year's picture, since our flowers this year, are not so pretty yet.   We had some wet weather, followed by some warm weather, followed by a lot  of wet and cooler temps.  Not the best, for flourishing flowers.

In fact, one of the tuberous begonias in the front step pot, looks almost as if it is rotting.  -sigh-   And it was so pretty.

We turned the fireplace on, the other evening.    And yesterday, we turned the heat on.   Imagine that!  In June.   So far, we are not experiencing global warming, here, this summer.

Our pool is open.   And has not had enough hot days, to really heat up.   Of course, that doesn't keep the youngest grand son out!   I think he would jump into ice water!   He simply loves, loves, loves to swim.

Swimming is a great, healthy activity. Much better reading he's an avid swimmer than playing videos & games...sitting.

We bought replacement hibiscus from the freeze this past winter. They're still in the containers (with no drainage holes). We then had those flooding rains & nearly rotted them.
Your flowers look mighty good & I'm sure this season they will perk up.

Your flowers were gorgeous, so sorry they are not doing well now.

Lucky grandson! I remember your pool. Hope it warms up soon so you can enjoy it! I love your header! Happy Tuesday, my dear!

Oh dear! We are finally heating up here in South Carolina, more like a real southern summer ... which it won't be until next week! And then the days will begin getting shorter again ... *sigh* ... I have yet to get into our pool as, like yours, it is not warm enough! Although I'm sure that if I did get in, within a few moments it would feel delightful. Maybe later this week. Your flowers last year WERE gorgeous! xoxo

I remember when we lived in Montana one 4th of July it was 49 degrees. Usual summer temps were over 100. Seemed strange but we had to put heat on then for a day or two.

Our pool is at 86 degrees. I like it when it is above 88 degrees but with 113 to 118 degree weather in the forecast it won't take long to heat up more. Coolest temp my son and step grand daughter went in was 78 degrees. Brrrr!

It's been on the cool side here too, but not enough to turn the heat back on.
When I was a kid we didn't have a pool but lived right across the street from the town pool. I lived there during the summer!!

My grandgirls would be jumping in with him!
It's been extra hot here, quite unusual for Michigan.

Kids and pools are quite a combination. Enjoy!

We are having a bit of cool weather right now. Mid 70's in the 50's at night. I'm not complaining but we are going to be putting up a pool soon and we'd like to swim in it this year! Ha!

Your grand is braver than I!

It must be wonderful to have a pool you can use any time. Lily loves the water and it can be a challenge to keep her out of the lakes and streams when we go walking. X
