πŸ‘πŸ’›πŸ‘Art?πŸ‘πŸ’›πŸ‘WeatherπŸ‘πŸ’›πŸ‘

Ginny asked if I have a background in the Arts.  Nope.  My college major was Economics and Business Education.

(Talk about a totally changed "profession."  I graduated in 1958, before computers or any such techy stuff!  Used regular typewriters or some electric ones.  And mimeograph machines!!!!!!  Like The 'Middle Ages' or maybe, the 'Bronze Age'!!!  LOL)

But I always loved pretty coloring books, and all such children's art.    And I have worked in oils, and done pastels.   Only for personal fun of course.

And I do love all pretty art....   Whether paintings, or drawings, or illustrations, or book illustrations, or etc.  Guess that's why so many of my posts, have art, I have found on the Net, in them.

Weather is confusing....  Rain, and humidity, and cloudy, and now sun.

Our city is a tourist magnet.  And we really like to see nice weather for them.   Not that we gain anything anymore.  Like we did when my husband was in business.  But it is good for the whole City.

Actually, people are sooooooo glad, to be able to go places this summer, after all the lock downs!  That I don't think less-than-perfect weather, will keep them away!  😊

My son sent me a pdf biography of T. Sowell. Your shared quote ( which I agree) makes me remember to read it!!

Yes, yes, yes...I remember all those office machines...changing mimeograph ink cartridge was something I'd like to forget tho!! πŸ€ͺ

It is sad that some people never appreciate anything they have until it is gone.

First may I say, kudos for quoting the GREAT Thomas Sowell, who is all but revered in this house. Perhaps a more intelligent man has never lived -- or certainly, a more admirable black man, whose conservative ideals are a light to all who will open their mind to them. As for art, I love it too, and resent its takeover by the liberal elites. Art is for everyone. xoxo

I am so glad you popped over to my blog, come again anytime.
Your have some lovely illustrations on your blog I will be coming back to see more of them.
Hubby and I have not been very energetic yesterday and today, it could be the hot humid weather combined with the COVID shot. Who knows, and it could be our age also.
Have a wonderful day.
