❓❓How to...?❓❓

I know I keep showing pics of our front stoop planter, with the Tuberous Begonias.   They are doing so well, all by themselves!  My husband has not 'fed' them this year.  They love the shade.   And moisture.

How do you, keep whites things white?  ❓❓❓  I used to use Clorox all the time.    Then my towels began to show holes "eaten" out of them.   Read, this can happen, from bleach use.   ❓❓❓ And my whites began to have a yellowish tinge to them.   An eventual bleach effect?    ❓❓❓

So, stopped using bleach.   And replaced the white bath towels, with gray ones.    But have still~usable white hand towels.   Which are pretty *grungy* looking now.  ๐Ÿ˜ž

Soooooo, please help!!!!    How can I safely get them white again❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓

I love this clear, ✨sparkly✨ float, the "Grands" got this year!  Pictures do not do it justice.  The blue pool water shows through.  And loads of ✨sparkles✨, seem suspended in it.   And when the sun shines on it........   The ✨sparkles✨ are amazing!!!!!  ✨✨✨✨✨✨

Gorgeous pool water & float. And begonias!

As for whites...I use detergent with added bleach IN the container. My mother used to use bluing added to white (don't know if there IS such a thing any more).

Your flowers are gorgeous, and it is a perfect photo. What a feast for the eyes when first seeing them. We have a stoop, too. No porch, which is something I have really missed.

Oooooo, pretty!!! ๐Ÿ˜

About the bleaching of the white towels, how about sunlight? (if you're getting any) Other than that I'd go back to bleach. I bleach my white towels every time I wash them. I just make sure not to let it directly touch the towels. This new/old machine we're using has a bleach dispenser that adds water to the bleach before adding it in. Oxy Clean is fairly good, but I haven't found it to be a good replacement for bleach.

Happy Monday!

Bleach and sunlight, although they still never get as bright as they were when new. X

I need to get some of those flowers for next year. They just might do good here by me.

I use Tide and hang the clothes outside in the sun. I leave the whites out after they dry and have the sun bleach them. Seems to work!

Beautiful flowers and that float is so cool. Have you tried adding baking soda to your wash. I heard that works.
