Soooooooooo.....We longtime personal Bloggers....Who do not want to sell stuff, or *Influence* with our blogs....Who intend to continue to blog.... Guess we are "dinosaurs"... ππππ
So with this view (that bloggers are dinosaurs), no wonder Blogger does things, like take away our ability to make pretty, individual Headers. Maybe I am jumping to conclusions, but... I am still upset, about this Change. π π‘π

And locally, this water main break, has taken our usual use of our tap water, away from us. We have to boil water, or use Bottled Water, for at least 2 days. 2 days after fixing it, are needed, to get necessary safety testing, to remove the Boil Water Mandate.Happily, our Dear Daughter in Law next door, brought us bottled water, last night and today.

Well, blogging is still a priority for me! I’d hate to have to have a blog built for me but I think my son in law could do that easily.
Well, I have a group of about 15 blogs that I read regularly. I like reading about what regular people are up to and seeing pictures of things in their lives. I feel like all the bloggers whose posts I read are my friends! I'm happy for then when things are good and sympathize when they have challenges! My blog that I write was never meant to make me money. Then it's a job and not a past time! Plus it's sort of a diary of things that I do and I have looked at past posts many times to see when certain events happened in my life!
I love "personal bloggers" much better than the bloggers that are in it for influencing and selling. Change is good sometimes but from what I have been reading on blog pages such as yours and other blogging ladies that I follow this change isn't good. I hope you can still keep your blog as I enjoy it. Good luck. ~carol
Happy Fourth of July!
Yes, our world of blogging has changed over the years, hasn't it? I am happy you are here!!!
Blooming is a great hobby. I haven’t tired of it yet. Blogger changes are a nuisance though.
Clean running water out of the tap is one of those things we take for granted until we DON'T have it. :)
I plan to keep on blogging even if it is for dinosaurs. :)
So sorry about your water, and right on a hoiday weekend too! When the pandemic started, I saw there wasa bit of an explosion in blogging. But now it seems to have gone back to the way it had been. I guess sites likesnapchat and Instagram are more suited to today's fast paced society. Sad!
I'm not happy with this either. Everything isn't about influencing or making money. How about making friends? I sure appreciate the friends I've made in blogland - like you!
Beautiful pics today. I love that vace in the first pic.
So sorry about the water main break!
Oh wow with the water! We had to do that once when we lived in Medford, Oregon for a few days. Such a pain to boil the water, but so needed to be kept safe and healthy!
I do enjoy blogging. I've deleted and started way too many blogs but still enjoy the interaction with others :)
Happy 4th!
betty
We have that often with boil water issues Thankfully we buy bottled water all the time.
As for blogger and headers...it's free, so I rarely complain. No use crying over spilled milk.
And if you consider us dinosaurs, if that's the case we are considered treasures of the universe once rediscovered.
Dear MAIDEN LADY Carol...
Thank you for your comment! You have no info on your Profile Page, but if you did, I'd love to say this to you, personally.
Have you considered making a blog yourself? It isn't hard. And it is a lot, lot, lot, lot, lot of fun!
Since some people think that Personal Blogging is dying out, we need as many people as possible, to join our ranks, and keep Personal Blogging alive and well.
Please consider joining us.
Please....
Happy 4th of July

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I have added yours to my blogroll and look forward to getting to know you better.
Yes, I agree with you 100% about blogging. I hope it doesn't totally go away someday. You know what I miss terribly? Yahoogroups and mailing lists, via email. The days of gathering, via email, with like-minded people (mostly us women) is long gone and I miss it a lot. I find that most folks send & read emails on their cell phone so naturally a long chatty email is not something they want to do. I miss the days when my lady friends and I would exchange long emails, telling each other about the events happening in our lives or a new recipe we tried or quick prayer requests due to sudden illness.
For the most part I do not like "changing times". ~Andrea xoxoxo
I hope personal blogging keeps on going, I enjoy writing posts and visiting lots of blogs and getting to know bloggers. Are we dinosaurs? I did read that most bloggers are 50 and older, and that is true of most blogs I find. Our church is always working to attract young people, which blogland must do too, or it will fade away. Anyway, I enjoy it.
I haven't posted in a week or more due to home family time. I will be back this week though with a hopefully more normal routine.
I love visiting your beautiful blog.
Oh, I do hope not. I love to read blogs and enjoy connecting with others in this way. Different social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter, just aren't the same. X
Ugh I am so sorry about your water situation! Thank God for your loving daughter-in-law. As for blogging, I've been doing this since 2007 and have no plans to stop. It's a creative outlet but also a way to connect with my blogging buddies who are as dear to me in their own way, as family members. The world needs bloggers and blogs. xoxo
