And now, for something, completely different...
Mix Cool With Creepy" ~Link
"Ray-Ban and Facebook have teamed up to make a camera-equipped pair of $299 sunglasses. WSJ’s Joanna Stern tested them, and they looked so normal, very few people knew she was recording. Illustration: Preston Jessee for The Wall Street Journal."
"These sunglasses look like the classic Wayfarer Ray-Bans,............... except embedded in them is one teeny-tiny recording light, two 5-megapixel cameras, a three-microphone array, four gigabytes of storage and, oh, about a million concerns about the future of wearable technology."
So now, someone can be recording you, or your kids, without holding a phone. And how will you/they know? Unless you read this article and know to look for the tiny recording light, and the *tell-tale* motion of lifting the right hand, to tap on a small button on the glasses’ right temple.
😎
Ahhhhh, life. On top of everything else, we have to watch for tiny signs of being recorded...
😎
Let's stay home, and make Baked Apple Slices and Cinnamon, instead.

I'd go for that cinnamon dried apples for sure.
Mixed thoughts on the recording sunglasses. It could be a good thing if used for something like a dirty cop...but taking photos of kids?! Pedophiles come to mind.
Sheesh!
I love Betsy’s blog!
Like those cinnamon dried apples!
I'm happy to be a homebody!!
Goodness! Spying sunglasses, what will they think of next? I'm off to check out this blog!
Those apples sound delicious. I love the flavour of apple and cinnamon. I'm going to take a look at that blog now. X
What a lovely surprise! Thank you for the feature in your blog today....what an honor! I hope everyone enjoys this fun and festive fall DIY!
I plan on making the dried cinnamon apples. :-)
Gotta try the apple slices!
Those glasses are creepy and I really hope they don't become popular. Violation of privacy. I can already see legal problems with them. Hopefully, they'll be heavily-regulated (one of the few things that should be). If they become popular, I imagine we'll all quickly learn what to look for on them. Dang technology just keeps getting more and more intrusive. I miss the days when hidden cameras were only in spy movies.
Estelle's blog is lovely, for sure. She knows all about gracious living.
Oh my! I will be making those dried apples, for sure! You know how I feel about apple cinnamon smell! xoxo
