Friday night we had a lot of rain, and Saturday was partly sunny, but with a breeze. Naturally, the leaves are falling and blowing in the wind. 🍂🍁🍂
Well, I am well-rounded...
This morning we had an appointment for our Flu Shots. At 10AM, outside our doctor's office. When we pulled into the parking lot, we were directed over to the covering, outside the entry door. There was already a car there, so we were directed to just to the left of the overhang. It was nice weather, so they could do that.
We had our identity checked, and paper work done, and we got our shots and were on our way.
We could have gone to our pharmacy, but didn't want to go through the bother of trying to make an appointment on line... Then have to go into the busy store and wait...
This way, at our doctor's, I simply called on phone and made appointment.... "Easy Peasie"....
Got a bag of MacIntosh Apples. Which means it is Apple Pie and Apple Crisp time.
Better get going.... 😋🍎😋

Love both pie & crisp ...warmed wit a scoop of vanilla ice cream (or 2 scoops). Yummy
Apple crisp and pie - yummy.
My favorite apples are granny smith and honey crisp.
We got our flu shots st our doctor's office too. I love aLL your pics today, so warm and cozy! They go well with the day here, it is so windy and leaves are blowing everywhere!
You always find the best pictures! I like the advice from a pumpkin too.
I gave out so many flu shots last week - and got mine too. I had to give them to all of our residents and most of the employees. Need to get a few more employees in the coming week.
Love the Advice from a Pumpkin!
I had my second shot from the doctor as well. A bit of a rigmarole to get through the door though - full PPE on nurse, had my temperature and details checked, had to answer several questions, THEN I was allowed to enter the waiting room. Got the jab eventually and was very thankful not to have any reactions this time.
Have a great weekend :)
If you ever have access to Macoun apples, try them. They are a mixture of Macintosh and Jersey Black, hybrid back in the 1923 - so much flavor and texture! In 1972 I was introduced to them when I went apple picking at a local orchard to earn $. A really GOOD apple!
The pie or crisp sounds so good. It is the perfect time of year for them. I love all of your pictures. They are so festive. Glad your flu shot was easy. It seems so many things now are more complicated than they should be.
I did not know that anyone but me called them the BER months! Haaahaha actually I call them "my beloved BER months" ... xoxo
Ha Ha.. I did not know they were called the BER months. I like that.
Yummy Macintosh apples! So good for pie and apple crisp. Tis the season!
