Thank you all, for your "Keeping House Neat and Clean" ideas!!!! I really like the one-room-a-day way, which Lori spoke of. We live downstairs, in 5 rooms now. (Perfect set up for us!) And with 5 rooms, one each day, Monday thru Friday, would do it. π
Plus, keep everything in its place, every day! ~~~ And kitchen has to be 'gone over,' daily. Can't go to bed, with not-clean-sink-stove. I always wipe down kitchen counters, after I make my husband's morning coffee, so that's ingrained. π

I love the poem! So what's the new tip you will try? Your pics are SO cute today, especially the girl walking her Scottie, you can see how the little dog is fighting against the wind!
In reply to your commented question...
As I said in my post, I like the one-room-a-day plan, which Lori spoke of.
5 rooms.... done in 5 days.... weekends off.... -smile-
Now!!!! To do it!!!!
Btw, what is your "Household Neating and Cleaning" Plan?????

I do my usual chores every morning...empty dishwasher, make bed, clean bathrooms and every day I do something extra just to stay ahead. I don't try to do one big day of cleaning. I just keep things neat every day by doing a few things in each room...every day. Works for me. But we all have to figure out what works for us. Happy Sunday!
Dallas or Titans(2 games) for us. I'd rather watch any game but Dallas. lol
My idea of housework is mixed most times any more. Lazy
Contrary me...The one-a-day plan becomes a "have to" and I've learned to not do the "shoulds." Spontaneous cleaning works for me when and if the mood strikes.
Happy Sunday! Thanks for the mention. It does work for me and I hope it works for you. It should be easy to give it a go especially since you've just had your house cleaned. Perfect time to keep up with it.
Love the poem about November. I'm a fan of the long nights.
Enjoy your day!!
Love all the illustrations!! They make me smile. :)
I could have sworn that once you said this was what you already did -- one room per day. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. It is a good plan. As for me, I have my house cleaned by someone else every two weeks ... in between I keep the kitchen spotless and the laundry done and the beds made and the bathrooms clean and the trashcans empty, and everything "picked up" which is really not a job at all because we do not clutter very much except for TG who has clutter at the place where he sits to read and look at his iPad and watch ball games. But no NFL at our house! The woke brigade have taken that over and we are done. xoxo
Love that header!
I agree with the clean house, I'm more content and happy when the house is clean!
I also agree on the lass of the name for Washington. Too much wokeness!
Love all the sweet images in this post. I missed the post about you asking for cleaning advice and will go back to read it. I tidy up as I go, but sometimes things pile up and I spend a concentrated amount of time (15-30 minutes) putting things back where they belong. The kitchen sink and countertops are always cleaned well before turning out the kitchen light after dinner. Bathrooms are my bugaboo - don't enjoy cleaning them so I always do them first to get it over with.
Once or twice a week I go over the whole house with the vacuum cleaner. A tidy house makes me feel good.
The artwork and the poem in 5is post are delightful!
I LOVE the November poem!
I like that November poem very much! I like to try to keep my place neat. With the pets and the hubby, it is a constant thing to clean, straighten, put up.
