🍁They came and I'm happy!!!🍁

Seem 2 of the older 'girls,' have learned, how to get from on top of chicken coop, to top of high fence, around their run.   A bit later, I saw one of them "fly" down, into their bigger yard.    πŸ˜‰    They were *mad* because they had not yet, been let out of their run, to their bigger yard.   πŸ˜‰    Now my son and daughter in law will have to clip the older one's wing feathers too.   πŸ˜‰    Who sezzzzzz "you can't teach an old dog, new tricks????"   πŸ˜‰
It was pouring all morning, but then the rain passed by and it cleared up!  Yessssssss!!!!

"The Maids" came today/Friday and they did a wonnnnnnderful job.   I am very, very happy!!!!!!  Of course, now I don't want to *live* in our home!    And get it dirty!!!  -grin-

Now, to try to maintain....   After dinner, I hate the clean up.   Want to get everything in the dishwasher, and get out of kitchen!!!!     But!   It's time to implement "The Fly Lady's" idea....    Never go to bed with a less than sparkling sink.

Again I ask, how do you keep up with your household chores?  I know some have told me and I thank you.   But perhaps there is someone new here.    This is a topic that I am always happy to hear new ideas on!!!!

Oh those chickens! :)
I never go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink. I don't have a dishwasher so have to look at them sitting in the sink. :)

Those cookies on the header are sooo cute!
I'm jealous you had maids. :)
I try to pick up every night, and yes to the shiny sink! Then on my day off I do the other things - toilets, floors, dusting...

Such a cute header! Enjoy your clean house and curl up with a good book or movie.
My husband does the dishes and most of the laundry. I've tried many, many suggestions on efficient housework but I always end up going back to the way I've always done it and that is one room at a time. I start in one room, dust from top to bottom, clean any surfaces and do the floors. It really takes the least amount of time for me for some reason. Even if you only do 1 or 2 rooms a day it works well. And no matter what, each day I take time to pick everything up and put it away. It usually takes only 10-20 minutes. When everything is in place, cleaning is much easier.
Enjoy your Saturday!!

Cleaning is part of everyday routine. Can't let it get ahead! NEVER leave dirty dishes in sink. Bad!! It used to be the Mister did all of the vacuuming, window washing and dusting. I took over. Wow!

I followed Fly Lady years and years ago, on and off for several years. I guess what I learned is now just part of what I do. She had some great ideas on how to keep your "house respectable" :)

The kitchen here is an everyday job. The rest as needed.
