"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater."
-J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

Gorgeous quote and sentiment. Hope you're having a good day, my friend. xoxo
A profound quote from Tolkien. I am reading a book by his great grandson, a memoir, There Is a Hole in My Bucket by Royd Tolkien.
Oh MY!!! What a stunning look today, both soft and glorious. And a perfect quote to go with it. If you quit blogging, it would be such a loss to everyone.
J.R.R. Tolkein had the hope of the Resurrection and the Second Coming of Christ in his sights when he wrote that. We should as well.
Amen. Just stop, look around and there is more good than bad.
A great quote and such a beautiful picture!!
Soooo beautiful! I love the flowers.
The photo of the child is how I feel about the world today!
Oh your header is uplifting! This is a real change from rants. There is a time to speak up, and a time to keep your mouth shut. People need to know the difference. I must keep putting one foot in front of the other and looking for the good.
Such a gorgeous spring picture and wonderful quote. It's always important to see the good in people and the world. There will always be bad but there will always be good as well.
