😊 1st Robin 😊 Views 😊

Saw my first Robin, of the year, this morning!!!

🌟

I love the layout of the set used, in "As Time Goes By."  I love allllllll sets.   And this one, is quite easy to "see," as it were.   But I have never made sense of the upstairs.   Surmise they didn't care, if we can.

🌟

Can never reach wayyyy into my dryer, to retrieve something "stuck" in the back....    Without thinking of the awful scene, in "MM", where 'the busy-body' woman, is leaning into the hotel sized dryer, and the bad woman pushes her in, and closes the door and turns the machine on.   Brrrrrrrrrrrrr...   Remember that one???

🌟

Wish "Midsomer Murders" had less gruesome murders.  I love the beautiful English countryside scenes...  The interior of lovely old homes, both aristocrat and commoner, and the authentic pubs!!!!!!    But the murders!!!  Shudder...
🌟

Have you seen your "First Robin" yet????

What a cool looking robing blog today! Mr. Audobon himself could not have designed it better! Yes, I saw the first robin quite awhile ago. Did you know that our American robins are not real robins? They are a type of Thrush. The real ones are smaller and in England. Me too, there are some shows that have such beautiful scenery and are so wonderful in many ways, but I can't stand the gore! I think T.V. people need more and more shock value now, as we are getting so accustomed to it. Too bad.

Our robins return usually in February. I've been seeing many of them.

We have robins year 'round.

Haha! I agree about MM. Britain really likes tv shows combining beautiful countrysides with gruesome murders. What's with that? Glad you saw a robin! We've seen them for a few weeks, I believe. Hope spring gets to you soon!

Yes I have seen a lady robin in a tree eying my carport for a nesting spot. She does it every year!

The robins stayed here this year. We had some which ate the holly berries off our tree as the berries were exposed over time.

As Time Goes By is may all time favorite TV series. I've watched it so many times I even know a lot of the lines.
Saw a Robin a couple of weeks ago and see LOTS of them every day now.

We could sit on a couch and shudder together :))
I'm like you, I love the countryside and looking at the decor but those nightmarish horrors I can do without :) xx

Our robins have been back and now the red winged blackbirds are back too. :)
We love Midsomer Murder and all the beautiful countryside, but you are right about the gruesomeness!

We've had robins for weeks here!

I love Midsomer Murders but the murders are gruesome at times!

I have not seen a robin that I was aware of, but my backyard pool area is (as usual) awash with cardinals! They are everywhere, both the flame-colored males and the dull but brightly beaked females! I love the little "cheep" sound they make! I also love Midsomer Murders, for the reasons you cited! The English countryside is so comforting to me. But wow, they have a load of homicides, haahaaa! I hate it when I have to practically climb in to get that last sock at the back of the dryer. Aarrrgghhh! xoxo

We have robins all year long, maybe because we're in the middle of the country. They chirp and hop around here all winter, spring, summer, and fall. Besides cardinals, they are some of my favorite birds. Well, maybe chickadees are in that list, too, lol. I've seen As Time Goes By when at a family member's home, pretty funny stuff, good show. I agree, the upstairs layout is kinda weird lol. Oh well. I alsways miss a sock in the washer, then find it when I put the next load in. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Arg. LOL!
