Had to get a very few things, in the nearby grocery store, and a couple of things, in the nearby hardware store. πΈπΈπΈπΈ Happily, the number of unmasked people are growing!!!! πΈπΈπΈπΈ Again, it is your choice to wear or not wear, a mask in public.
I noted the amount of money we spent this morning. Insurance bills, are set and you just have to pay them. The only place one can be more frugal, is 'out of pocket' every week. πππ I imagine many of we ordinary people, are paying more attention to what we are spending, with sky high inflation (Thank you *Uncle Joe*) and sky high gasoline costs (Thank you *Uncle Joe*... You who, immediately when you came into office, cut off the pipe line, and made so many onerous Rules on gas companies, they do not want to try to get more gas... Thus gas was sky-high, even before Mad Man Putin.)
π
And the sad thing is..... When everyone starts cutting back on what we spend, it slows the Economy, which results in Inflation and coming Recession.

Gotta' lift the spirit of this post!

It is all a mess that is going to continue to get worse.
I hope you enjoy your meal tomorrow night. You're blog looks like Spring.
It's been in the low 70's this week but like you said March is a tricky month. Our last frost date is April 15th.
We are having Spring Weather too.. and I saw a Red Wing Blackbird.
We are having Ruben Pizza for our St. Paddy's celebration!!
You are so right! It is spending which helps the economy, and we are quickly becoming folks with lots less to spend! It is madness and again yes, "Uncle Joe" -- who couldn't care less about the middle class if you paid him to -- is at fault one hundred percent. He is a delusional dementia patient and until he's cut off from all power, we will continue to suffer. No, I don't plan to have corned beef and cabbage, even though I am Irish. TG is German and does not see the charm in the St. Patrick's Day thing that I do ... but I will wear green! Count on that. xoxo
BTW I meant to say, I was out and about yesterday and a man drove past me, alone in his pickup truck. Wearing a mask. The man I mean; not the truck. I simply do not understand that way of thinking. I never will; I won't even try. It's nuts. xoxo
Sure would like to have a corned beef and cabbage dinner delivered. Not happening. Nothing like that available here and the roads are too slippery with muck and mud anyway!
I came over to wish you a Happy Saint Patrick's Day, and what a great idea to order your meal from the diner. The weather has been wacky our way, nice and mild one day, snow and real cold the next, in the 70s after that. Hope the rest of your week is a good one.
Gotta love the corned beef and cabbage.
The spring pictures are delightful. We had one of those days here too.
No corn beef and cabbage dinner here.
The blog is looking beautiful today.
The state of the country is not good with inflation and gas prices... but Joe says it's not his fault!
What a cool looking blog! And some of these photos make me think of the Irish countryside too. What a great idea you had for dinner, did you order from a restaurant or a grocery store deli?
Oh, I see. You ordered it from a diner. We do not have a diner anywhere near.
Don't like corned beef. We do like cabbage, but rarely eat it (maybe once every 5 years in coleslaw, lol). I love the green all over your site at the moment... but we don't pay any mind to the day it's for. I've never been much on St. Pat's. I'm a July 4th person, mainly because my oldest son (died at age 34) was born that day and we always had great family bbqs with him and his wife and kids and the other son and whoever he was dating at the time. Spring is beginning around here, too, it was 75 degrees today, maybe rain tomorrow, woo-hoo! I'm hoping eventually "uncle joe" gets held to the fire for all the trouble he's given us. Have a great day!!
I agree with everything on this post, except we are not having corned beef and cabbage for dinner tonight!
Such a mess. Putin is making his bed in hell nice and cozy. Fluffing the pillows with every murder he commits on innocent people. Biden, oy. Such a mess. Praying in the midst of all this.
