We went to the Kentucky Derby 6 or 7 years ago and it was a wonderful time.

There is something quite stirring and beautiful about watching horse racing :)
I told roger it's my favorite few minutes of television. In reality, what I love is seeing the horses and hearing their stories.
I have watched this event FOREVER! This time I picked the winner - only because it was red with red mane and tail and my first horse looked exactly like it! I usually pick 3 before the race and write their numbers down before they run. One or two of my choices always place first, second, or third! It's a knack I guess but I never bet. NOPE!
LOVEEEEEEEE the hats...we missed the Derby as we were visiting the seashore, grin. Have beautiful Mother's Day, smiles.
