The*dreaded* Full Moon Effect may have gotten to me, even though I didn't pay attention to *it*. Our front door handle came apart. Our tv is *dying*.

I admit I had great fun, seeing all the Royal Fashions and Happenings (and bits of drama), during the Jubilee.
But.........
Things like Royals, parading in ancient costumes, for an ancient Garter Ceremony....
And I really can't take the curtseying...

That is a wonderful header!
If I tried to curtsey, I would probably fall!
All that royal pageantry always seemed so silly to me! I agree that it seems so out of touch with the reality of these days anyway!
Your blog is so beautiful and soft today! And the moon effect is stunning!!! I agree about the bowing! But it is fun to watch.
All the protocol is too much for my liking,
Not sure I could curtesy either. :)
No curtsying for me either! :)
If I tried to curtesy like that, someone would have to pick me up, abahwaaaaaaaa. lol
I feel like all the "royal" stuff is so overdone. I didn't watch any of it although I read some articles and looked at pictures. I love QEII but (little secret here) I don't believe in royalty. It's a made-up (by them, a long time ago, for obvious reasons) concept. That's why I would never curtsy; like you, I think we are all the same and it's what we DO with what we're given (key word for royals: given) that matters. Of course I also believe -- and I think QEII does too, from things I have read about her -- that someday I'll stand before my Creator, where all ground is level. xoxo
